This is by far the greatest DVD release that Sesame Workshop has given us since they brought out The Electric Company in February. Hopefully we will see more Old School sets come out in the future. All in all, this is the best review I have ever read on the website and I certainly cannot wait...

Once again it shows juust how self-centered Disney is. I think that in circumstances like this one, it's high-time that we start convincing Henson to buy the company back from Disney. :mad: :boo: :attitude:

I just got mine in the mail today so I am very ecstatic right now. It's so lifelike. For those of you who haven't purchased one yet should probably find one now before they are all sold out. :) :) :)

I don't think that's going to happen. i have a pretty good feeling that Sesame Workshop will be able to use Kermit on the box set. The reason I say this is because I am trying to keep a positive attitude about the release. I also say this because I think someone said thaat Sesame Workshop got...

For me, I'm pretty frustrated that this was not announced sooner. Why did they wait untill now to tell us that it would be tomorrow?

Is the event only for one day or does it run throughout the whole weekend? I know that the screenings go 'till June 2007 but I am just curious about the rest of the exhibit.

Looks great Daffyfan2003. I especially like the "Google Bugle" song with Kermit and Cookie Monster. I haven't seen that since I was in preschool and I remember it very fondly. Can't wait to see what else you put up. By the way, would you by any chance happen to have the song "Hola" with Maria...

Right now, the only thing that I am worried about is why SW isn't giving us any detail about what is on the disc set, like what episodes, bonus features, etc. I just hope that we will find out soon enough. Does anyone know how or where we can get this info?

They'll probably have to. If they do, the set will probably be twice the price that Season 1 and 2 is. But hey, who knows? :smirk:

Great review Phil. I must say that i cannot wait for Tuesday to come. The minute I'm done with school for the day, I'm heading out and buying that DVD at Barnes & Noble, seeing as how I have several gift cards for that place. Anyway, can't wait 'till it comes out. Thansk again .:excited: :)
