I've decided to start taping every episode of Sesame Street in case future members are looking for episodes, but the only one I am missing of Season 34 is #4036, when Elmo and Gordon play chess. Does anybody have it?
I'll get a list of the rest of the cast whenever I can, but there's a few questions I can answer you about.
1. The robot voiced by Steve Whitmire is also Bleep, but why his voice is different I don't know.
2. The Henson-voiced character that asks what's going on is the Jack-In-The-Box...
The Honker was the green one with blue hair. Not sure about the name, though. I know it sounds almost exactly the way you said it, but not sure on how it's spelled. It could be "Alphonse".
No, the version who sang "The Garden" wasn't Ronnie Trash. The version of Big Jeffy that sang "The Garden" had a green nose and a headband instead of a tophat. Otherwise, he wasn't much different, so I don't think that a second version of Big Jeffy should be counted in the listing.
Actually, the Counting Crows have already been done on Sesame Street. They sang a rock song called "Count it One, Two, Three".
And if the Count is reading this, here's the description, so you can add them to your Muppet listing (if they're not in there yet):
The group "The Counting Crows"...
 The tapes we're trading!
And thanks, Count. I like your idea of e-mailing them, but I prefer to list them over the forum in case somebody else has never seen them before, or wonder where the origin of a certain character comes from (for instance, an old commercial from the Odyssey...
Nice to hear from you again. I do have a list, but it's kind of long, so I'll be as brief and descriptive as possible:
THE CHRISTMAS TOY
RUGBY TIGER--a cartoon-like tiger with wiggling ears and moving eyelids. He has light green eyes, black catlike pupils, and an orange muzzle with a pink...
I could hear Frank (laughing), Richard Hunt (the Merdlidop who screams before his crater is invaded), possibly Dave Goelz ("Quarter after six") and Jerry Nelson (chanting "Merdlidop" at the beginning, with Frank). I don't know the fifth, but it was probably Jim since all of them sounded male.
I'm not telling you my home address over the forum, but my e-mail address is muppet1fan@yahoo.com. If you can't reach me, try asking Boober_Gorg, since he also knows it (and since you've also traded with him).
BTW, I've got all three of your tapes finished. :)
I still can't get through. Try e-mailing me through Muppet Central's e-mail (click on my Username and you'll find it).
BTW, to all: Once I receive Mikealan's episodes, I will tell everyone what I wish to trade for, so please be patient.
Sounds okay, but on ONE CONDITION: I prefer that all episodes anybody plans to trade with me be copied in SP. In other words, two episodes per tape. I'll do the same for you, unless otherwise noted. I'd also appreciate it if you sent #1709 and #1710 as "extras", and #1364 and #1396 as...
It could be someone named Olga Flechermacher. I've seen her name in a few Muppeteer credits, and I'm listing her because she's the only female Muppeteer I've never heard of. It's just an inkling.
Jerry often skips syllables when he moves the puppet's mouth. For example, if he had the Count to say "Welcome to my castle", the mouth might move on "Wel to castle". In a way, it also emphasizes Nelson's wonderful voice.
It also doesn't hurt if you've watched him on TV a couple hundred...
