The great thing about David's birthday for me is that it is the day before mine. Anyway, here's wishing you many more happy years to come Mr. Goelz. :concern::confused::cool:
You know, now that we have learned that the Season Four box set has been moved to October, it dosn't seem like they really had to delay the book as well. I know it's not likely to happen, but they could still try to release it in September. Do they have a time schedule yet? :smirk:
I have a pretty good feeling that it will be the Muppet version with Karen Prell giving the performance. Whoever goes there is going to have to post lots of photos and videos. Anyway, this is great news.:excited::excited::excited:
Yeah, the Goofy "How to Shorts" are a riot. I would like to find the Goofy set at an affordable price at some point. Anyway, I just got the "Behind the Scenes at the Walt Disney Studios" box set, so I should be recieving it in the mail soon. Now my list includes:
-Mickey Mouse in Black and...
I hope they can create another volume of "Your Host Walt Disney", as well as a set based on Disney World in Orlando. That would be sweet, to see the opening in 1971.
I met Marty Robinson at a 2007 POA festival in St. Paul Minn. and we both share emails together. I visited him on the set of Sesame Street two months ago for the last day of taping and also interacted with Caroll Spinny (:wisdom: and :grouchy:) and Leslie Carrara (Abby Cadabby). Jerry Nelson was...
Yeah Kermit was a great mentor to a lot of the Muppet performers. He convinced Caroll Spinney to keep his job at Sesame Street and brought Kevin Clash in as one of todays greatest performers for the company. I have no doubt in my mind that he will surely be missed.
I love unpaved too. By the way, the Muppet Central store already has a proto-type cover. Let's hope that's the kind the publishers will use. :insatiable::batty::super:
Well, I know this is an old thread, but there are articles about the pops appearance from 1971 and 2001 on the Muppet Wiki. Anyway, I am still desperately trying to find the 1971 performance and hope that someone who has it or has old episodes from the pops may have it. I am just dying to see it.
I really don't think that it is necessary for us to fret over the format of the older Sesame episodes from the 70's and 80's. If there was a Sesame Street channel, it would probably be easier for Sesame Workshop to air the older shows between the hours of 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, since most little...
Um.............. okay. I really don't mean to be a dark cloud, but is this like a reprint of the other book, Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles?:confused::confused:
This might sound a little weird, but I noticed that the book should be a couple pages longer than Jim Henson: The Works, so that might prove that it will be more extensive than Sesame Street Unpaved was. But anyway, we'll have to see how good it is. :batty: :insatiable: :excited:
