I'm sure it could. I was just referring to the general architectural style. It would have a Victorian sort of appearance, but on the inside, it's a modern, up-to-date station with automatic ticket machines, places to sit and eat, entrances to the subways, everything you'd need and want in a...
Let's see...in terms of architecture, I kind of see the train station as being from the Victorian area, with lots of iron scrollwork and columns and a clock tower and all that. Kind of a miniature version of the stations you'd see in London.
Really, now. I kinda thought you looked like a curly-haired version of George Harrison (during the Fab Four days). Guess it's a matter of perspective.
(Scooter starts on first verse)
Lonely days are long...twilight sings this song...all for happiness, that used to be...Soon my eyes will...
It's a nice drawing, MBM...but your classmates do have a point about the resemblance to Elvis.
(pulls guitar back out of case) All right, fingers are feeling better. (joins in for last verse of 'Photograph')
Scooter: My turn to choose the song.
Floyd: Sure, man.
Scooter: I want to do that one...
Hey, Renee, thanks for putting the Coming Unbound bookshop on the map! That would be a bit of a hike to the Muppet Theater in a rainstorm...poor Nora. And Count, I love the description of Jim's Coffee House and the Muppeteers' secret bunker.
Let's see...as for the train station, I had it...
M.N.: (takes fingers off frets and sticks them in her mouth) My fingers are a little sore. Floyd, I have a request; in honor of the all the talking we've been doing about photos and pictures, I want you and the Mayhem to do 'Photograph,' by Ringo Starr.
(M.N. puts guitar away for time being...
Richard: Tooth gap man. I'm flattered.
It was either braces or full-blown cosmetic surgery. There are three people who know exactly what happened: God, Richard and someone in the New York area with DDS tacked on at the end of his or her name.
(looks at picture, and then at two photos of R.H., one from the Muppet Show days, the other from 1990 or 1991 or thereabouts)
Hmmm. Is it just me, or did that gap between Hunt's top two incisors become a little smaller in later years? I was just looking at a few photos, and it just seems to...
A lot of my friends, such as the ones in the poetry club, my lit class and at the paper, are big on the Muppets. Our new editor-in-chief especially likes the Swedish Chef.
As for a project, I'd personally vote for the entertainment factor. What made the Muppets so beloved by the public? That's...
Let's see, now. I dreamt once that I saw the Muppets doing an alternate staging of Muppets in Space, except in this story, they were out on a mission to board and explore a stranded spaceship...and then the scene changes and then I learn that the whole scene was part of Scooter's dream...and...
M.N.: Yes, it's official. Renee, you clearly have a crush on Richard. (finishes 'Yesterday' and starts debating over what to play next)
Richard: Let's see...I'm the subject of two full-blown crushes and one imagined friendship, and I've popped up in the dreams of at least three people. I'm doing...
Me? No, I just listened to music, read, did some work on the computer, that sort of thing. Nothing unusual. As I recall, it had been a hectic week at school, though.
I asked my doctor (also my mother) about it, and she said it was just the usual nighttime rumblings from the brain stem. I...
(Richard gets up and starts to do a little victory dance...only to have Frank stick his foot out and trip him up.)
Richard: (picking himself up off of floor) Ow...Frank, what in Edgar Bergen's name was that for?
Frank: Jim made me do it!
Jim: Did not! (mutters something under breath) All right...
Good grief. The most junior member of the Fab Five is certainly popular with the women on this forum.
Frank: The Fab Five?
M.N.: That's you and the other four.
Yeah, I've got the same thing happening on my end. For me, it started around the same time my Internet connection began acting up on me, which was last Monday. Most bizarre.
M.N: (puts newly bought strings on her guitar as she talks) Let me put this as delicately as I can, but in a light-hearted manner. On the subject of Scooter...am I therefore right in saying that you have a bit of a crush on the Muppeteer as well as the Muppet? (puts last string on and starts to...
Frank Oz: What do you mean, the bearded men? I've only got a mustache!
Richard: Yeah, and I've got no facial hair at all...hey, Frank, where'd you come from?
Frank: (emerges from below floor with Dave Goelz and Jerry Nelson) I suppose I ought to ask the same of you and Jim. You two are supposed...
