I thought it was a nice story, Boober. And it looks like you got ALL of the Muppet characters (and some of the humans) in there as well. That house must have been crowded.
Can't wait to see how it ends!
I think I know which story you're talking about. I read it myself only a few days ago, and I thought it was rather sweet. I'll post a proper review as soon as I can.
Unrelated topic: back to what happened to that gap in Richard's teeth: it was either surgery or braces. It's apparently not...
Good luck, MBM, and hang in there. Let's face it, high school is no walk in the park. Mad dash across a foxhole-ridden minefield? Now we're talking. ;)
Once again, hang in there.
I rather liked reading Karen Prell's account of Richard's tough love attitude: "I don't know if I can do this..." "Ah, shut up and go for it!"
I had a paper assignment this morning, and I was a little jittery over it. So I wrote "Shut up and go for it" in my reporter's notebook before heading...
I know; I've had 9/5 marked on my mental calendar for some time. I'd been considering toddling up to the nearest music/video shop after I get off work (for my paper internship should be up and running by then) to pick it up.
Really love to see how Richard does as Gillis Fraggle...
The main problem I have with my computer is having it crash when I'm typing something in Word - especially if it's a paper for school.
In the meantime, I'm just keeping my eyes open for season 2 of FR...and it turns out that one of my new roommates is a fan.
And some Fraggles are named after British towns or sports stadiums.
Wembley is named after both the region in NW London and the stadium that is located there; that's where they held the British portion of Live Aid back in '85.
Oh, Matt, that's awful. I wonder why? This is a perfectly legit, socially acceptable (most of the time) site...unless your folks are concerned that you're spending too much time here?
Either way, it's too bad; we'll miss you.
Oui, ca va bien. Je ne suis pas francaise, mais je peux parler la langue; ca fait sept ans que je l'etudie.
Translation: Everything's fine by me. I'm not French, but I can speak the language. I've been studying it for seven years now.
I agree that the Muppets are really weird in different...
Got it off to the paper yesterday afternoon, and I think it went well, thanks.
I just moved into my dorm for the new school year (I'm doing well but my mother was a little sniffly over it). It took me an eternity and a half to register my computer onto the campus network; all that installing...
Good grief.
Guys, Phil says we should just ignore this guy the next time he posts. Let's face it, his ultimate goal is to make us mad.
Gotta finish up my article and get it in before deadline; I'll check back later. Cheers!
Yeah, I'm fine. I just posted my fifty cents' worth in the Spammers at MC thread. Phillip's up there now, last time I checked.
The message was the same nasty one that others found, the one about the forum burning in a certain place. Utterly repulsive.
Furryredmonster, I found that exact message in my inbox today. It got forwarded to me from one of the Fraggle Rock threads, the one about pairing up the Fraggles. This is getting kind of scary.
Please do, Richard...Jim would weep if he knew that some lunatic was using a Muppets forum as a means to insult and threaten people. In fact, he's probably weeping right now; it's drizzling a bit outside.
And you know, it would have been REALLY low if you-know-who had started his tirades on...
Right...I found a really nasty one in my inbox this morning; it had originally shown up in one of the Fraggle Rock threads.
I'm starting to wonder if he's going to try uploading a virus onto the forum. That would really botch things up.
So the crazy one launched an attack on the RHLC? Eeeeshh...some people.
What exactly did he say, Beau? Was it the usual generic rant or was it aimed at us specifically...wait, never mind, the usual flame post that MC was going to die.
Oh, well, last night I dispatched the Mighty Hunter up...
The Trash Heap, however, is a little more difficult to place, probably Eastern Europe by way of the Bronx. But Philo and Gunge are definitely both from New York or north Jersey.
Yes, Count, I do have the sorbet recipes safely on file, along with my ice cream and gelato recipes.
Oh, dear, Richard's on the warpath...hey, Richard, would you mind trotting up to the Feedback or Muppet Appearances threads with that? Because, unfortunately, there's someone there who...
Yes, Richard did do one of the ghosts; the other two were John Lovelady and Eren Ozker.
I always thought that Richard and John played the sleuths, but like I said, I read somewhere that Richard did both of the sleuths.
And about the Muppet City forum: you're right, he's gone off the deep...
I also loved them doing 'Searchin' from the Valerie Harper episode. And I read somewhere that Richard played both of the Whatnot sleuths. Also loved 'Jump Shout Boogie;' that was certainly a vocal workout for them...and let us not forget 'Just One Person.'
Hey, guys, did you notice something...
