Sad news, it looks like Harvey Beaks is ending after the second season. I definitely hoped the show would last longer, but on the bright side, it was the creator who decided to end the show and not the network. C. H. Greenblatt says they're working on a really big series finale...
Well, in Bob McGrath's original statement he said all of the cast members were being let go except for Alan, Chris and Suki. So I guess that means Susan and Gina are gone as well.
On one hand, it would've been nice if Susan had made an appearance, but on the other hand it would be confusing to most of the audience if they said she was his mother figure but than she didn't show up for any other episodes. There really aren't that many kids who still know who Susan is.

Well I wouldn't exactly say they threw their personalities out the window. While I do agree their roles probably should've been switched, I still think Ernie comforting Bert would be much different than Bert comforting Ernie. So in that respect I think the writers got it right. So in other...
Welp, as of a few days ago, i've officially watched every episode, I wish there was more.
His Follow That Bird review is actually how I first found out about NC.
I wouldn't be surprised if money was a big factor, the show was already kind of struggling financially by the late 90s, thus the reason they scaled back the number of episodes per season in season 30.
