You would think that since i've been obsessed with Big Bird ever since I was a baby, i'd have a harder time adjusting to Matt, but I actually don't mind him at all. I'm completely amazed by his performance. He's somehow gotten all of Caroll's subtle little movements, that you barely even notice...
Well, that's a relief. I thought it was something really gross like how they found out there was horse meat in the Ikea meatballs. But, it's still disappointing if this is true, especially for people with soy allergies. And Subway's statement on the matter doesn't sound that much like a denial...
I have actually wondered about Episode 1966. Of course, anything could happen, but it seems odd that they would lose an episode that was only 15 years old at the time Unpaved started. But, I suppose it is possible that they had so many episodes that they had to get rid of some to make space, not...
Unfortunately, That's been postponed indefinitely. So, probably not gonna happen.
As for Muppet writers writing the projects, I still don't think that necessarily has to happen, I mean, it'd be great if it did, but I don't think that would be the only way or the best way for a Muppet project to...
I actually meant, do you prefer the original performer of a specific character or the current performer of that character. For example, do you prefer Steve's version of Kermit or Jim's version of Kermit? That's the point of the thread.
Yes, I believe so. Threads like that get deleted rather quickly to avoid confusion. Can't have anyone believing any of that fake news, that's a big enough problem as it is ;).
Just curious to see which performers you guys prefer for each character.
For the most part, I like Frank Oz's versions of his characters more than Eric Jacobson's. Frank just gave them so much life, and he really understood the characters so well which made his performances and his ad libbing...
And here's another article on a similar topic, written by our very own Marni Hill, a.k.a @JimAndFrank :

Well, like any show, it's all up to your personal taste. Also, you have to watch the right episode. As for it being underrated, I only say that because it's not as popular as it used to be, but I don't think it's dipped in quality at all. In fact, if anything, I think the show got better around...
I wasn't sure whether I should post this in this thread or this one:

But, the AV Club made an article about the future of the Muppets:

I hadn't even heard of it until a couple of months ago. I guess it was before my time. But it's one of my favorite shows now.
Anyway, there are a lot of current shows that are pretty underrated. I guess because there are so many shows these days, that it's easy to forget that a lot of these are...
Daria - It's one of my favorite shows. It certainly has a relatively decent following, but you don't hear about it all that much. Sure the characters voices can get a little annoying at times but, I think it's a very funny and clever look at teenage life. It's one of the few shows, especially...
Yeah, I agree. I actually don't mind the Uncle Deadly intro, but it does need a little something to make it more interesting. I think it probably just needs more characters to play off of each other, I dunno. They do seem like pretty generic Shower Thoughts type videos.
Every Monday, The Muppets are bringing you their wise, informative, and downright hilarious Thought of the Week.
Here's the first one:
And here's the one for this week:
I know this is an old thread, but my mom and I just happened to have been talking about this last night, and well, we both agree that Tom is better. I can't say I dislike Jerry, he's certainly quite charming, but I feel really bad for Tom. All he's doing is trying to follow his owner's orders...
I'll be quite honest, I don't think this episode is so special. Sesame has thousands of episodes that they haven't officially released. I'm sure this episode is stored away in the vault just like all the others. I don't think this episode is being hidden from the public, I just think SW has...
