Although, to be fair, this isn't the first time we've seen other characters working at Hooper's Store without much explanation. Gabi and Miles have both run it on occasion, and I remember an episode from a few years ago where a random human was seen working at the store in the background. So...
Oh man, I was gonna start this thread, but you beat me to it! Well anyway, Happy Birthday to our resident metal, Behemoth, and Thomas the Tank Engine fan! It's been lovely getting to know you. I hope you've had a great day so far!
Thanks! I will definitely be posting it when i'm done. I'm not really sure when it'll be done, but hopefully by this fall. I'm really excited about, this'll be my first big project!
Rocknaldo- For once Ronaldo actually seems to have gotten a fair bit of character development this time around. The whole episode seemed to be a clever metaphor for "allies" of different minority groups. Or it could be interpreted as being about some of the show's more pretentious fans.
One that took me a pretty long time to get used to was David Rudman's Janice and Scooter, but especially the latter. I remember when Letters to Santa
first came out, I was dumbfounded when I first heard him. Literally the first thing that came out of my mouth was "Why the heck does Scooter sound...
Ooh, I like this thread.
Okay, what's something interesting about me? Hmm, maybe this isn't that interesting but, I love writing, drawing, and creating characters, especially interesting female characters. So right now i'm working on a graphic novel about a girl and aliens.
I'm gonna call...
So, you guys may remember last year I mentioned on the now deleted "frown" thread that I was kind of depressed and really really scared to talk to people. Well, i'm doing much better now. I've found going outside and exercising really helps improve your mood and your energy. Reading the bible...
Happy Birthday Bill! I've really enjoyed reading your posts over the years and I wish we could've gotten to know each other. Thanks for helping to make this the place it is. I hope you're having a great day!
I kind of like the fact that this episode didn't have any specific focus, it was nice to just watch them be themselves and goof around.
Oh, and I could listen to Stephanie sing all day.
And, most importantly, Beyond the Sock! In Texas! I live in Texas. I must go.
Well, I know he at least did...
Sorry to double post but I found this excerpt from an interview that Danny Trejo did prior to the release of Muppets Most Wanted. I thought it was very touching:
Interviewer:Finally, I actually spoke to Ray Liotta earlier this year and he told me that you do something a little different in...
Firstly, a couple of weeks ago I was listening to "What I Am" and I started to feel really emotional. I don't even know why. Is that weird?
Anyway, I have to say, I enjoy What I Am better as a song. It seems to have a lot more energy on the performers part (except for Will I.Am, that is), and...
I know this is an old thread, but I just had a random thought. For some reason I think a lot when I should be going to bed. But, the Bechdel test. I'm all for strong female characters, I wish we had more of them, but the Bechdel test is a very low standard for that, I think. Because, two female...
I think i've figure out the nature of Tom and Jerry's fairly complex relationship. It's close to that of a younger brother and an older brother.
Tom is the older sibling. He's the the one that's constantly trying to stop Jerry from reeking havoc everywhere he goes. Jerry always bothers Tom...
A great rule of storytelling that I learned from a Pixar animator- It was something along the lines of, you admire a character for trying, much more than when they succeed.
Y'know, I was just thinking (whaaat??). Jon Stone really didn't like the changes SST made during it's "Around the Corner" era, or the changes Caroll Spinney made to Oscar. I have a feeling, had he been alive he probably would've hated the format change in season 33, and he might've had a...
