Some of you really should read or reread some of Jim's biography. Especially the chapters that focus from 1969 to 1980. That was when Jim tried for years to convince people that The Muppets where not just for kids,but for everyone. The new show showcased that beautifully, so stop complaining please.

Well they must have been doing something right. The rateings are in and The Muppets was ABC's best premiere ever with almost 9 million people watching last night...

I don't really know what the problems are, and I really don't care. This show was great. I really think Jim would like what this show is trying to do.
I'm also surprised no one has mentioned the nod to Richard Hunt by haveing Scooter...
Without seeing the show yet i can only speculate,but I have a feeling that Sam's love is only going to push Janice and Floyd closer,and force them to define their relationship a little bit,maybe even get married.
In his biography there is more detail about Sex & Violence and Jim's vision for that show. From the beginning Jim knew that he wanted that title for the show. Through the writing and production of the show many changes had to be made but the one thing that would stay the same was the title...
You know I'm going to take a Jim type of mindset when it comes to these reviews. Jim knew he was good. He also knew his work was good as well. If other people could not see it that would never stop Jim from doing good and believeing in what he was doing.
Really i think we are worrying abit to much sbout these early reviews.
On another note I really feel like this is the kind of show Jim always wanted. One that would be for adults,but kids would enjoy it as well.

I read that Piggy gets into a relationship that could be painful for her and that Kermit tries to talk her out of it....So it should be very interesting to watch.
