Street stories are usually taped around september- december. In 2011 ,when The Muppets movie was in production around november 2010- february 2011, the season 42 of sesame was taped between march and may . So they can combine the tapings os the two shows... I think it would be more difficult...

I would love to see Frank doing something in the new muppet movie... at least a one note character, like the ones he does in sesame now...

I think they just updated the set, and it looks more realistic than before for me...but the stairs were such an integral element to the classic SS set.

I think that in the last few season , the most prominent actors in the street scenes were Chris and Leela, and the rest of the cast acted like cameos, I dont know why they bring tv/film stars to the street scenes , because they eat the screen time from the veterans like Luis, Maria, Gordon, Bob...

I think some characters performed by Johnn Kennedy sounds like Dave Goelz, his character in Pajanimals is an example...the first time I heard it I thought it was Dave..

I saw the season finale street scenes on the sesame page and I can say season 43 its the first season of SS that Susan and Luis arent seen in any new street scene....:(
