I've often wondered what the show would be like with a pre-teen as the companion. The dynamic The Doctor has with children is often very fun and cute. I thought about it for a bit and, I was really just angry yesterday. As you know, the thread which must not be named is not the first thread like this, or even the second. But, there are many other conversations to be had, and lots of nice people. :)

For some reason the Ernie and Bert episodes often seem to be the better ones. When I saw that Josh Groban song listed in the press kit, my brain registered it as a remake of Bob's old song "Hi Friend".

It's still nine. And probably not. Season 49 likely starts at some point this fall, so the premiere of the 50th would probably be sometime in late summer or fall of next year. If they have an anniversary special though, maybe that'll air on both channels.
