Yeah, when we were in Chicago figuring out how to use those things was a real pain. This is something else that bothers me, probably more than it should: When people refer to a TV show by the name of one of it's characters. Like how some people just refer to Sesame Street as "Elmo" or "Big Bird".

Ideally most hope to make at least double the budget, especially domestically. Don't forget, they have to pay for promotions and merchandise. Plus, this is Disney we're talking here, the same studio that was disappointed in the second Narnia movie despite it making around $430 million.
