Yeah, CN is a good example of this, all of their intros recently have been about 20 seconds or less. Oddly enough, Gumball's intro is only 20 seconds long, but for some reason, the network cuts it down to like 2 seconds for US airings. A lot of anime, i've seen some intros that are three minutes...
