Awwww...Emmy,
Congrats! No one deserves 1000 posts more than you. Or the others who came before you. Except one. But I'm not naming names.
I'm not.
Congrats on the big millenial post!

Still very far away from that.
MCC was one of my least favorite as well, but that may be because I've seen SO MANY friggin versions of A Christmas Carol that I'm sick to death of the whole thing.
That said, it's growing on me more and more each year, and there are a few parts where I get all sniffly each time I see it...
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times:
If we can get used to Steve Whitmire's Kermit and Ernie, we can get used to anything...
I'd rather have the characters continue on than have them retired when the performers do. Retire.

Looks wunderbar, Mike--I can't wait to see this, and you just whetted my appetite a bit more!
Hmmmm....never mind.
But I'm excited to see it. Just seeing Scooter flash by in the commercial was refreshing. Hoping this is good...I'm much more excited for this than I was for Muppets From...
I ree-he-he-he-heaalllly don't like Regis. But I do like Kelly. And Piggy. So I'll tune in. If I remember. I'm supposed to be taking care of Miles and my niece and nephew while Melissa is out Bounty Hunting on Friday Morning. We'll see.

I'd be surprised, nay, shocked, to see it released on DVD in 2002--the same year it's produced as a made-for-tv movie. I'm hoping they'll have it ready for me to pick up next year!
I didn't know Amazon did this...I'm gonna have to do some searching for some other stuff that's not yet...
Great diatribe, David!
I think that I (like so many others) love the "Muppets" from about 1970 on...but don't know as much about what came before that, and we're not sure what's coming down the road, so we just hold onto what we do know. I'll have to check out "Designs and Doodles;" I've...
aren't those sweet? They came out last year, but only in Canada....~@#$!@!!!!
did your mom happen to STEAL any from the dentist?
Not that I'm accusing her of anything...

You know, "The Works" is really the best of the best...just about everything else I've ever read has been second-rate. EXCEPT for Sesame Street Unpaved--an excellent excellent book.
