Okay.
So y'all know I have the cutest baby in show business, Mr. Miles Benjamin Chewbacca The Edge Glumboclutch Rollins.
He's almost 9 months old, and we're starting to get the beginnings of language out of him. He's been crawling for a while now, and he stands up and walks if he's...
ACK!
Is there going to be yet another MC Civil War??? I hope we don't have to pick sides this time and I can just be a fence-sitter. Or a bounty hunter! Hey, yeah--whoever pays the most (or really, anything) gets the fence-sitters on their side!
"He's no good to me dead."

I love the Number Painter!
He may have led to some of my pre-pubescent vandalism. Then again, maybe I just WANTED to paint my parent's bedroom carpet purple...
Hmmm....
That's it.

But....Elmo's been around since what, 1987? So he's already been around 15 years, or for FIVE generations of "Sesame Street" aged children. Which is forever. And Elmo's talked that way the whole time, so don't change it now...
I'm with you on the anti-Baby Bear kick.

...I'm pretty indifferent to Beauregard...I can take him or leave him. My favorite thing he ever did was the Punch & Judy puppet show in the "Senor Wences" episode of TMS, and you didn't even really see him there...I just liked it when he "bit" himself.

LOL!!!
I just put people whereever I think they belong.
And YOU definitely belong in S.F.. Not that there's anything wrong with that!
MAN I love San Francisco--only been there once, on our honeymoon--we almost went back this fall, but ended up in New York instead...

Very cool, guys--I'm very envious. I'm very un-musical by soul and nature, but I've recently been consumed by the desire to learn how to banjo. It may be the Muppets, it may be my affection for Travis' "The Invisible Band," but I'm loving the banjo lately.
Very very cool.

...I think if you asked most "normal" people (i.e. non-rabid fans) they'd say "Manhattan" is their favorite...possibly just because it seemed to be rerun on tv more than any of the other Muppet movies...
Just a thought. I like that movie too, although it's not my favorite of my favorites...
Yeah, if you can get over your own expectations, it may be ok...I was just so disappointed by it that I can't quite get that flavor out of my mouth.
The first twenty minutes was great, and there were a few bright moments after that....but any time a human's on screen it just dies....that...
This is still what I'm assuming they'd go with, along with a removable hat, her guitar, and hopefully a tambourine. I've got the pic from the card at Toy Fair at home that I can post later if anyone's interested. It may not be accurate, but that's what they were thinking 11 months ago...
Yay!
WE agree!
There's been so much divisiveness, so much venom, about a topic that's theoretically brought so much happiness to all of us....it makes me want to go offline for a few days. Or weeks.
Alas, the nature of my addictions means I will be unable to do so. But it was a nice...
Meredith was VERY nice, although the only time I got to see her was the 45 minutes or so I got to spend with her on stage. She was really very lovely. You can see a few more wrinkles in person, but she was very nice, funny, and smart. And I think she loved Rubber Duckie.
