Jeez, poor guy...I hate to see him plead "guilty" to anything, but at least hopefully this will make things easier on him.
We'll still be thinkin' about and prayin' for him...
Well thanks for the offer for the "trade", lol...see, I see Mokey as the Charlene ("Designing Women") and Rose ("Golden Girls") of the group. She is the heart of the rock. The others have heart and soul and feelings too, but their own other characteristics many times get in the way of letting...
Oh gosh, Vic...and right at the holiday season, too. *sigh* I just read all the posts here, and I am so sad for Tim right now...I'll be keepin' him in my thoughts and prayers.
I think it's utterly ridiculous for the family to sue your friend, seein' as HE was in the right of the law. He did...
Can't...form...sen-tence...jaw..on....floor...
OMG Vic, you are AMAZING!!! I hadn't seen this thread yet (been away for a bit again), but WOW am I glad I did! DANG man!! I think you have talent flowin' in your veins instead of blood! lol I've looked at all the pics, and had some good belly...
Yes, this is a GREAT song! I love to listen to it 'n bop around, lol.
Dan, if ya still need it for some reason, lemme know. If not, cool---and kudos to Whatever for typin' up the lyrics! :)
Mokey is the BEST! (I just noticed this thread, lol).
Her voice is so soft and lilting, fitting perfectly with her gentle, centered persona. I love her creativity, artistry, and musicality, and her heart, things I relate to, and I can also relate to her over-anxiousness and nerves...
Well, I don't think it's located in "our world"---I think it's in some sort of other world, or in-betweeny place, since Gorg artifacts had been transported to our world. Maybe just a slight dimension. No one knows the exact answer, but it's always been very intriguing...it makes you wonder...
That is one of the most beautiful songs in The Rock. The melody and harmonies are goregous. Mokes has the sweetest, most lilting, soft voice for such a delicate lullaby...and her yawn at the end is sooooo cute...:flirt:
Well the chart makes absolute sense. The fraggle and the gorg comparisons are how they appear on the show (plus that's Wembley there, the smallest fraggle), and we know fraggles are knee-high to a human, so it only stands to reason a human would be knee-high to a gorg---just like the graph.
But...
Whoa, that's cool! If only Janice had gotten on there...:flirt: Oh well, at least she had her "Facts of Life" interview with Piggy in print---and piccies. :)
D'oh! Didn't realize that...sowwy. :o
Hey! It was one phone message!
Really!
It was!
:halo:
And it's not my fault if you call while I'm at work! And you haven't e-mailed me in YEARS! (okay, weeks, but still)
Interesting question, Kimp.
In my case, it was a few factors. First of all, my sister and I grew up knowing both our grandmothers and several great aunts and great-great aunts, so we were very familiar with how old women "were". Second of all, the show was just so extremely well-written...
"Thank You For Bein' a Friend"---special tribute to the Girls!
Hey y'all!
Another friend of mine online "told" me how to make "movies" via Windows MovieMaker, and I've gotten sucked in, lol.
Here's one of my first projects, a tribute to one TV's most timeless, hilarious, classic...
Oh gosh, I didn't hear of this until Alex told me...how sad...:sympathy:
He (I assume) gave Janice so many of her best lines...and probably some great Mokey episodes and material too. Not to mention all the relationships he helped forge between the Muppet characters.
A brilliant, endearing...
