Wow...okay, I was terribly tickled at your inclusion of the Muppeteers as charatcers, and the explanation of the "puppet" Muppets was genius...and then you throw a curveball! The reactions to their deaths made me sniffle...and that's not easy to do. (I'm fairly jaded.) A powerful installment...
This is great fun! Now I want to read all the rest…
Eli threw me at first. My immediate thought was of Cancerman (aka Cigarette-Smoking Man) from the X-Files! WHO exactly is this guy? Original character or a tribute to someone else? Please enlighten…this reporter hates being ignorant about...
Found and snagged a mint copy of TMS season 1 at the bookstore I used to work at...and got a discount, even. Sweet! :) The discs are so pristine they're crispy!
Of course, one of my friends there berated me for not holding out for the fuzzy-jacket one... hah.
Yep. Fan mags like "Dynamite"...yeesh... boy am I dating myself with that one... :o
And people still write to the programs care of the TV networks. I'm going to try and get Jim Lehrer to autograph one of his books for me by going that route. Many studios, too, have street addresses that could...
*sad eyes* I see a number of readers on this and my first fic...and hardly anyone posts... *sniffle*
Really, I DO want feedback! Good or bad, critical or friendly. As a writer, it all helps! Please, folks. Don't make me get down on my skinny yellow knees and beg...
VUNDERFUL! :batty:

The Macy's Parade was especially cute, but I have...
Oh, man. I am all OVER the stickers and punch-outs! Of course, the total nerd in me requires I buy two copies of each...one to save pristine, one to play with...
Ha! Great atmosphere. Though this fog is kinda hard to breathe in...
LOVE the song especially! :) Man...now you have me thinking of Halloween, even though I know this was for Valentine's...
:) Glad you liked! Hope others do too. I know it's terribly out-of-season...but it's what my brain was stirring up.
Still listening for suggestions for other fics.
VERY cute! :) I could easily picture all of it, and Bowser would make a great guest star! (YES of course I remember Sha Na Na...although the only one of their songs I recall enough of to sing is "Get a Job.")
The not-a-dog gag is funny. I think you could even have put several MORE of them all...
Here is a Muppet News Flash! Our studio has just received word that a new production of "Les Muppetables," that classic musical tale of the French Fry Revolution, will be premiering this weekend at the Muppet Theatre!
Enigmatic show producer, TSSD, would tell this reporter only, quote: "Just...
It's outrageously hot here, and the cooler at the house where I live is busted. I'm usually up all night just so my brain isn't fried while I'm writing. Unfortunately, this means I sleep during the morning/early afternoon hours...while the house cooks me slowly...
This morning, the HEAT awoke...
Part Three
Christmas Eve, 1977.
The Newsman had serious doubts about having agreed to participate in the closing number. Kermit and Miss Mousey were singing their duet, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” in front of the holly-swagged main drapes while Scooter and the stagepigs dashed around...
