Hmm..interesting...well, thanks for the info, Mike.
I wonder how your those got in there. Maybe vocals with Mike, Jerry, Karen, and Louise (say as chickens or penguins) were sampled and used as the basis for creating those accompaniments via a synthesizer processes or something.
Mike, you...
I can't wait! I would really love if they released a DVD of the special too (maybe an extended version - as two 1-hour shows will be filmed and be edited down for the 50-minute special) but I don't know how likely that would be.
The reason is the people running the Pooh franchise are on their game and pushing hard on new Pooh creations and releases (and the top people are listening and allowing it). And it's working and doing well. Sadly the people working the Muppets haven't taken much intitive nor do they have the...
What bothered me about Henson's ownership? The Jim Henson Company owned the franchise for about 20 years. But for 10 of those years they did practically nothing new with Muppet Babies and for over 5-years they were almost invisible from the public eye. Don't blame Disney for "wasting" 2-years...
There have been three Gordons:
Matt Robinson - Season 1 to Season 3 (1969-1972)
Hal Miller - Season 4 (1972-1973)
Roscoe Orman - Season 5 - present (1973-present)

Reguardless of who owns Gorch (NBC has full ownership of the segments, but I think Henson has some kind of character rights).... Broadway Video confirmed that nothing has been edited from this set. Not a single skit, sketch or musical performance! So Gorch will be intact.
I'm surprised that so many people are upset about this "hiatus." The show had a good run (and it may actual be back). For a free web-show with the production values that it did, I'm surprised it kept going as long as it did. It ran bi-weekly for well over a year. It had more episodes than...
The last name Johnson comes direct from the Sesame Street Unpaved college tour, which was put together by Sesame Workshop - Bob's last name comes from the of the questions in the quiz.
And for the record:

Gordon's (and thus Susan's, Miles'...
Well Spider-man's creator, Stan Lee, signed off on this product and okayed its production. And I don't think he would have done that if he didn't like it or thought it was bad for the franchise.
Spiderman has done a lot of kid-friendly things (including having a recurring series of sketches...

Warrick said that he asked Steve Whitmire about writing a book like Caroll Spinney's back in April and Steve said he would like to, but no one has asked him. You see, it's not just a matter of having the puppeteer wanting to, but also having someone willing to pay them to. They won't spend the...

The first season Grover was named Fuzzyface. He had a much more rough voice and bit more of an abrasive personality... oh, and he had dark green fur. I know of three season 1 sketches with Grover. One was a Kermit lecture about "In" (Kermit tries to get him to go in a box but he can't because a...
Well, I bought two...now what? ;)
According to Phillip's season 2 review here, HIT will be making the call on season 3 by the end of the year....but, of course, I can't wait 'till then to start speculating!
