I like the very dim, low quality look it has and the inserts are fun, but otherwise the pacing of the street scenes are a bit tough to sit through.

On the subject of season 1, I managed to sit through every (available) season 1 episode under the influence of weed. Some put me to sleep but others were nice to sit through.

To be honest I think the show would have still gone the ATC era even without Jim’s passing. The only difference is see is maybe Elmo’s World being kept as a spin-off series.

At least five or six times season 1 of Sesame Street has managed to put me to sleep watching full episodes.

Those blank muppets creeped me out the first couple times I saw that skit as a kid, but it eventually grew on me when I saw the “Getting Ready to Read” VHS.

Yeah, that’s definitely frustrating.

I mean I think it all just comes down to timing of segments. There’s no doubt I’m sure some 70s shows probably shortened the intro or ending.

If it’s one actor I wish I had the chance to meet, it’s Tony Jay. Seriously, with what an absolute great voice he had and over the top acting performances, he would have easily been high on my list, and I’d sleep like a baby knowing I’d have an autographed picture of Judge Claude Frollo.

Hearing Snowth sing both “Black Pantyhose” AND my rap song about America (very off-key) in his car! :big_grin:
