To be honest, the "ruined childhood" thing is coming from people who couldn't care less about the movie or puppets and have only seen the trailers, so don't put much stock into it.

That album (This Fire) is fantastic; strong nostalgic memories of "I Don't Want to Wait" being the Dawson's Creek theme. 'Cowboys' is great as well. Family Guy decided to make fun of it for some reason. Totally unwarranted; kinda upsets me.
