This isn't really a baby name, it's a last name. You won't believe this...
At one of my previous jobs, there were three people there whose last name was...Chicken. That's right, Chicken. Think of those poor people:
"How are the kids, Mrs. Chicken?"
You'd half expect them to reply...
The site that picture is from has a whole bunch of weird cryptozoology pictures in it. Some are hoaxes, some could be real, and some are just for fun.
Think of the Muppety captions we cut put under the following pictures:
(Scene in a museum): "And here we have a skull from the ancient...

"Calliandra Shade" by Ian Anderson
Say Jellyman Kelly, is your signature from an old Sesame Street sketch? I was wondering because I was going through an old tape and came across an old "B" sketch. It kind of reminded me of your signature. Would you mind telling me where it's from?
BTW...
Other Telly Moments...
I remember one sketch where Telly was pretending to be a firefighter. He pretended there was a fire in Hooper's Store and squirted (whipped cream I think) on David's bagel. The whipped cream was Telly's "fire extinguisher". David looked at the big blob of whipped cream...
Oh, I forgot to mention what I was looking for. Someone on the Forum (I'm not sure who) had asked if Miss Piggy had toes or not. I thought I had found the answer, but I couldn't remember which MC member had asked. The title of the thread was "Miss Piggy: Head to Toe, You Know?" I'm positive...
Well, I think I have a guess as to where they got the name "Cantus" from. The "Cantus Firmus" is the principle voice in Gregorian chants. In some dictionaries, "Cantus" means "the principle voice in song".
I'm not sure about the other minstrels, though. Terry Angus performed Brio the...
I had a question about threads in general. Do they ever expire after a certain amount of time? I know threads get closed down for different reasons, but I was wondering if there was a certain "lifespan" for any MC post. The reason I wondered was that I think I had found the answer to a...
Thanks for the help, Count. I hadn't heard about the figures clearing customs, but then again, there's a lot of the folks here on the Forum who are much more in-the-know about the figures than I am. I must have missed that announcement. As for the credit card suggestion, I paid with my figures...
Oh, so that's what happened. I didn't know. That's too bad the site's gone. I just liked looking at all the rare clips and stuff on it. The Ernie and the Ice Cream Cone Man bit was one of my favorite clips from that site.
:p "I want a chocolate, strawberry, peach, vanilla, banana...
Has anyone got the new Uncle Deadly figures yet? I pre-ordered mine ages ago, and the site says they will be shipping in "June '05", but I haven't gotten mine yet.
Anyone else got their Uncle Deadlies?

Hey everyone,
I saw a clip on Scarecroe's site that had a guest on the Muppet Show named Mary Roos. I believe it was the German translation of the show, but I had never seen it before.
Unfortunately, the clip (and Scarecroe's file site) is down or moved now and I can't find the link. I...
Hey, thanks for reading my posts and commenting on the Joe Raposo songs. He and Jeff Moss were very talented indeed.
One comment, though: the version of "Air" you typed up was sung by Guy Smiley. Bip Bipadotta had a different version of "Air". Both are great, educational songs though...
Here's two links to posts where I discuss Elmo:

And I still stand by what I posted. I just provided the links to save space in this thread.
I miss...
There was another scat clip like that with Grover, eh? Wavy lines around the edges of the screen...hmm...wish I could help you out there with a photo, but I can't recall the clip.

I think this photo might help. Grover wasn't in this sketch...well, until it was re-used on Play With Me Sesame. Here's a link to the photo:

I thought there was an audio of the clip somewhere too, but I can't find it right now. But I'll tell you...
I thought I had read somewhere that Jim Henson owned a ranch in or near Santa Fe, New Mexico at one time. Anyone else ever heard of this? Just curious.

From a recent interview, Samuel L. Jackson requested a purple lightsaber from George Lucas, and he's the only Jedi who had a purple saber. I think Jackson was on David Letterman's show when he mentioned that.
