Could some Muppets be considered violent?

Jim Henson definitely had a dark side or rather he knew the world was not made up of only smiles and roses. He was one smart cookie:insatiable: The Muppet Show was not only violent but, it was full of stereotypes. I believe Jim was a bohemian in the best sense of the word. He was always...

    Favorite Musician Muppet

Rowlf - hands down! He is the first Muppet born and thereby has seniority. He's also the embodiment of Jim Henson. Not to mention his piano playing always makes my day.:sympathy:

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

A script is generally 120 pages long... He is halfway there. Stallone wrote Rocky in 3 nights or something crazy like that. If the ideas and dialogue are flowing it can be written in no time. It's the pre-production, shooting, and post that takes so much time and yes, sometimes the script...

    Favorite Muppet Movie Quotes

The running gag in some Muppet movies was that, during a scene where several characters were excitedly talking at once, and someone called for silence, Janice would be the last one still talking, on a topic with no apparent connection to the situation. In GMC she says: "Look, Mother. It's my...

It depends on the film. I believe they just started shooting so I would guess a couple of months for Segal on this one as he is "Acting" only - not writing or directing. If they already have 50 pages of the muppet script it means they are into the project. I think he will be finding time to...

I'm not surprised there is no more news as of late. They are 50 pages into the script (says Segal) and they are shooting "I Love You, Man" right around the corner from me now... I should dress up like my favorite muppet and run through the set - har har.

    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

I happily agree with all those points Frogboy. I do like the site and I think you are right - it is just a start. I suppose I am looking thru the jaded eyes of someone who has been in marketing and business for a lifetime now. I look at these things thru Hollywood business eyes but, when I...

    Muppets.com relaunches with Disney XD

While I love the new material and look of the site I would have to agree with you. The site is somewhat useless and not interactive. How many times can you log-on to see the same skits? In the marketing world this effort wouldn't really register.
