Renewals have nothing to do with quality if the numbers are there the network renew it, if not then they'll be lucky if they don't yank the show off the air. ABC has lost a ton of money advertising for The Muppets, but ratings dropped sadly and they stopped advertising it, but I'm not sure what...
Ya, that's always annnoying, shows that are good get cancelled while crap like The Big Bang Theory keeps going on even though it gets mountains of hate, I wish we could get past this outdated system and track more than just live viewing numbers.
The one thing that I don't like is how much dialouge they throw at us that we never get to see them, for example Bobo's army buddies or maybe even flashbacks of him in the army a la Brooklyn Nine-Nine or the wicker man you mentioned, but I still love the show, and no matter how good it was going...
I miss the days when I would see showers of muppet promos, such a good time, even up to Single All the Way, constant advertising, but after these low ratings there's not much hope, they're not even bothering to advertise the season finale, that's even worse, but I guess ABC has to make room for...
Well ratings stayed the same again at that 0.8 demo, there was an uptick in viewership, but not much to make a difference, at least it didn't sink any lower, but next week the show's against The Voice ugh, hoping it can at least maintain the same numbers or even go up, maybe that could be enough...
This is what we were promised, the muppets in their personal lives, Up Late with Miss Piggy is a nice backdrop and it's fun to see the show, but really this is the muppet show I wanted and I'm pretty sure most of us did.
Pros
Drunk Pepe
Sam the Eagle, Chip, and Big Mean Carl were...
This is off topic, but I thought it would give a good laugh.
"The current voices for the Muppets are TERRIBLE! I can do a better imitation of Kermit than Steve Whitmire, and all the various characters just sound off. (The Swedish Chef sounds like he's grunting after gargling whiskey, like if...
Nice to know that it was that it was that good of an episode, also I'm not saying ABC shouldn't advertise the muppets, but considering how the show flopped in the ratings, it would just be wasting ad time and money, also it doesn't seem to matter, Got Silk got about the same ratings as the other...
Nice appearance, managed to catch it right during the commercial break of the FOX Sunday block, nothing much to say, a typical appearance, but since I'm not hyped for every muppet TV appearance anymore since they have their own show, I wasn't exicted to watch it, but no mention of the new show...
Ya, that's basically it, before he was accepting this show is going to be a disaster when he would get his coffee and say "It's time to get things started", now it's like he's being falsely happy, because he realized he's on camera or something.
So here's the plot for episode 115: Generally Inhospitable
When Miss Piggy breaks her leg rehearsing a dance number, Kermit gathers the crew and they broadcast “Up Late” from the hospital. Back at the studio, Rizzo, Pepe and Yolanda find creative ways to keep Pache occupied so he doesn’t ruin...
Galavant was a show that went as low as a 0.9 demo, it could easily have been cancelled and was certain to be cancelled for every ratings website, then suddenly ABC renewed it, not that it worked as ratings collapsed even further, but it happened, same with American Crime, this went as low as a...
I mean again, this could go either way. It's Disney synergy, so you never know, it's possible the finale grows in big numbers leading ABC to renew it. Still not looking good, ABC repeated episodes so much, advertised the reboot a lot, and what happened, a new low, not promising, but maybe...
So about that tweak in the intro where Miss Piggy gives Kermit some coffee and he cheerfully says "it's time to get things started", when is Kermit happy to start the show, on TMS it was stressful for him juggling the guest star's problems, whatever Miss Piggy or Fozzie had to tell him about...
