Yes, Speechless just looks awful, honestly ABC comedy is just getting old. They never made anything besides the typical family comedy, with a "twist", it's just getting old and annoying, the only really good ones were The Muppets and Galavant, and you know how those turned out.
Honestly, I...
Wow at The BFG, for the 4-day weekend it managed just $22 million, and it's opening weekend was just $18 million this is going to be a massive flop, it'll probably end up with a $60 million domestic total, and that's being optimistic and with a budget of $140 million, it'll be one of the biggest...
RIP Ellie Wiesel, I read his book "Night" it was incredible, sad to see him go, but I am glad he told us his story and opened our eyes to the disaster of the holocaust, such a great guy, very sad news.
No joke, my eight grade english teacher was also obsessed with the holocaust, saw Anne Franks, we also switched to shakespeare afterwards, and parents complained...weird.
How do you know that this show used formulas from other shows to give this show a mainstream feel if you haven't seen the show? There were tons of moments with heart and muppet feel, they did not use formulas from other shows, it was SATIRE of the mockumentary genre like the original TMS was...
Thank you, you hit the bullseye, The Muppets can never succeed or recieve critical acclaim because of nostalgia, the only thing the masses want is the billonth rendetion of Rainbow Connection or that one sing along VHS tape that they watched as a child, Muppets drinking alcohol *gasp* Kermie...
Well it was made my the same creators, it's not a ripoff more of a successor, like Parks was to The Office, there are some similarities, but both shows are pretty different. Also, doesn't Parks have those talking head interviews? 9-9 doesn't.
Who else is a huge fan of Brooklyn Nine-Nine? I've seen every episode and it's just a hilariious show, I think one of the best comedies of this decade. This thread is for anyone else who watches to discuss. Remember the fourth season premieres Tuesday September 20 at 8/7c, so get discussing.
I'm not keeping my hopes up, but it's possible it could get nominated for something smaller like cinematography, but you never know maybe they will win, the puppeteers really deserve it, and remember The Muppets are no stranger to the Emmys, The Muppet Show won 4 Emmys and got nominated 21...
Even though The Muppets has been cancelled, it doesn't mean that it can't get some Emmy love. I looked at the Emmy ballots and found that several people and episodes have been inserted for consideration, I'm not sure if I found them all, but here's the link and the nominations I found are below...
Okay, has anyone seen this one?
There's nothing to see but seriously? They always air it on channels with classic shows like Antenna TV or Me TV. The animation is just disasterous, I mean the lips don't even sync to the words, and it'll probably creep someone out instead of making them...
I agree, the thing I don't like is that ToughPigs, Muppet Mindset or any other muppet fan site hasn't had an article about it, and I haven't seen a single news article about it, the only thing we have is Kirk's word, which is fine, but I would like some more confirmation.
I love Bob's Burgers, it's one of the best shows on TV right now, and I'm so glad that it's been renewed through season 8. I first watched it one night after The Simpsons, it was the episode "Moody Foody", and I instantly got hooked. The 7:30 timeslot is a little annoying, in my opinion it's...
The person tweeted to Kirk that they couldn't wiat to see moments between Kermit and Miss Piggy, and then Kirk said it wasn't a giant muppet show. I think this is something like Disney Drive On, but I hope with less Disney synergy.

Actually, they aired it on FOX in March, and it was more pointless then the Christmas special, but I agree it's not even close to the worse, and the animation is really good.
