Alright kids, it's story time with your uncle 1,000 Eyes.
Death released their 7th album, The Sound of Perseverance, on September 15, 1998. The album would turn out to be their last, as frontman Chuck Schuldiner would succumb to cancer and die on December 13, 2001. Sandwiched between some great...
Prepare yourselves... I still haven't watched Fraggle Rock.
Honestly, I always thought it was underrated. Everyone talks about how great The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper are (the first one I totally agree with, it's one of my all-time favorite films; the latter I have yet to...
It's up to you, but I think the name's fine personally. With 'Muppets' in the title, it might draw more people since not every Tom, Dick, and Harry (no, not them!) knows who Jim Henson is, but almost everyone knows the Muppets.
Course this isn't based on fact, just general musing on my part. :P
If it has violence, it's likely adult. If someone gets his face smashed, even if there's no language, sex, or drugs, it's not for kids. :P (I've been meaning to check it out actually, all your talk has gotten me curious.)
I've heard of the show, but I don't actually watch it. In the adult cartoon world, I've seen one Family Guy episode, a few Simpsons episodes, and a whole lotta South Park. #SouthParkFTW
Exactly. One of the biggest gripes I have with Christianity is how they bring up kids. All they're doing is having them sing the same stupid songs, do the same stupid stuff, without the kids even really understanding what it all means and why they're doing it.
With VeggieTales, it's actually...
Yeah, I grew up with the show, and honestly some complain about it having a stupid premise, I actually find it a unique one. Early VeggieTales and even some of the newer stuff is pretty great. It's still one of the few shows I actually admire giving kids theology because they had such a unique...
Why hath thou forsaken me?! :P
Pet peeves? Hmm, let's see...
People who talk about metal and only discuss Metallica. Open your minds! :P
...that's all I have right now, more to come soon perhaps...
“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.”
~Mark Twain
Gonna buck the trend here; I made a list the other day on The 66 Greatest Extreme Metal Songs of All Time, so if you're into that kind of thing check it out. Click the image below to view the list. WARNING: Not for children or the easily offended.
Oh I completely agree. But even mods are humans, and the only time D'Snowth has been a bit unfair was in the Trump thread, but it's been patched over since.
But hey, I'm not the admin here - I can't appoint the members, only suggest them. It's Phillip's call. :P
The reason I would suggest you for the job is that you are on the forums a lot, and you're a veteran member (you were top poster actually before the thread deletions began). From posts I've seen from the old days, I agree Beauregard and Skeeter Muppet would be good choices for mods, but like you...
We were merely discussing people whom we would like to see as staff members if our input were going to be taken on board. I've only been on MC for less than two years, so I was basing this on more recent behavior. Sorry about that.
