Dude! I know I haven't been very present in most corners of the internet world, but your art remains awesome :D I love it. Also, a Lips plush in-progress?? Wow :sing: I am very excited for that project! Good luck along the way!
Really wanted to post a review of the film's songs in general, but I was a patient lady and waited for my copy of the soundtrack! Phew, that was an intense wait!
I find this soundtrack's songs to be more film-tied, plot-specific than the songs from The Muppets. But, I do find their...
Seeing it tonight, I absolutely hear you on this. The friend who saw it with me commented on missing a lot of his favorite Muppets in the film, but I saw it as, "There's absolutely no way to fit everyone in perfectly and make everybody happy, all the while keeping the film to an appropriate...
I really liked reading your diverging review, Ruahnna, so I kinda wanted to respond if that's all right!
I could totally get behind this!
Totally agreed :D I guess I liked going along with the silliness of it for the sake of plot development. I laughed pretty hard at Dominic Badguy's...
Low-key, but also manic and, in spots, absolutely brilliant and hilarious. I enjoyed it every bit as much as I had hoped, and I quite honestly enjoyed it a lot more than I did The Muppets.
(This part here's about the 2011 film: I said it in my initial review of that movie on these forums and...
Hi guys!
Don't ask me how I managed it, but I have a complete collection of Hasbro Softies Fraggles. Yes, :sigh: including Boober, although he is definitely the only one in peculiar condition. Some of his hair has been chopped off (on the tail, too), but it is not readily noticeable...
Aahh! I love Red and Boober!! I'm really glad you wrote this. A very Red thing to do, tease him like that almost a little meanly, but meaning well :) You represented their dynamic really nicely.
"Red was impressed. He was putting up more of a fight than she expected. It was easy to forget...
I like that the title is a more original one, more in the vain of titles The Great Muppet Caper and The Muppets Take Manhattan and less "trying-to-sound-'postmodern'" or something :)
Hi there, joesje!
I've made a number of puppets using Project Puppet patterns and yes, those are very simple but professional patterns that are a great start for a Walter puppet. (Walter is pretty simple in design himself.) I think that the Roly Puppet Pattern on the Project Puppet site might...
I swear, your Fraggle characters are just so great :excited: I love Janken, such a positive and forward-thinking fellow! And the sense of family that is illustrated in all your Fraggle stuff is really interesting, because it's just so perfect for the Fraggles in general.
Oh and I mean, Baby...
Oh man, those were really cute promos! Wish I had the Hub, it's cool to know that people are watching the Fraggles on television, and that they're being celebrated!
And though Foodie's said it already, it's worth saying again: those are some real choice episodes, there.
Oh please :coy: I don't have any OCs for anything, really, but I am sure everyone'd love to meet yours if you have 'em! Muppet fans are pretty cool with most things and creative in general, I've come to find.
WHOA haha, is it really still the era of Jayjay the Jet Plane?! I mean I just haven't even slightly thought about that show in years, though your comment about the Jayjay-like Mickey Mouse CGI animation definitely still stands
Strange, strange. No specs to be found and they're just SO DARN EXPENSIVE! I actually really like the Play-dohey look of them, though, I think they're charming! (Definitely especially Rowlf!! :sympathy:)
If the pricing was more reasonable I would have way too much fun collecting a few or...
This video made me ridiculously happy!! What a cute song, truly in the style of classic Count von Count musical...numbers :batty: (pun fully intended)
Vogel's puppetry was truly excellent, voice included of course--though of course there is a difference, as there's bound to be. I'm as enthused...
Agreed all the way with both points here...there are lots of things to be skeptical about. But hey, I'll remain optimistic! I think it looks kind of cute standing all on its own, especially considering this bit:
I am a bit of a sap for ensuring young minds' care for the environment and...
