Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
So Honda made one of those "look at how freaking different we are!" commercials where everything but their one car is made out of cubes, especially the humans. Now, they could have been cute, got a license from Minecraft or something and used that. But no. They went the "let's make everything...
Annie would have sucked anyway because Annie always sucked.
And frankly, in the end, this means nothing. Remember 2, 3 years ago when Katherine Heigl was attached?
Sony really wants this to be a hit. It's their only animated release this year (that I know of) since Popeye faced production problems (which bodes well).
And the sad thing is, I'm incredibly hyped up for it. Yeah, I still have to see Civil War, I'm excited by that. Even excited by the new...
Or babies.
I still can't get over the Powerpuff Girls remake being nitpicked to death as if season 6 didn't already ruin the franchise. Meanwhile I stewed over that excuse for a movie with a title called Underdog for branding reasons and using up a license that Disney should never have bought...
"So...So Jesus was like a Zombie?
Like in 'The Walking Dead?'
I wish Chris Hardwick was here to giddily explain these confusing plot points."

I'll also admit, say what you will about Bayformers and Baynage Baytant Baynja Baytles, they certainly didn't skimp on the CGI. If only the quality of writing and direction was as good as how the Transformers looked.
But Jungle Book was a beautiful looking film. No wonder it stayed at the top...
Heh. I rather liked the episode where Patrick thinks a commercial about some real estate tycoon buying houses to flip them meant that he no longer owned his own house. I've happily never seen commercials like that, and I assume it's like those Cal Worthington commercials that everyone...
Spaceballs was much more recent. Probably just before the PG-13 rating? Lemme just check.
Actually... yeah Spaceballs came out in 1987, after the PG-13 rating was enacted. How that got a PG, I'll never know. Then again, the original TMNT movie had Raph dropping the D bomb like crazy. So...
I'd love to dump a whole bunch of anime opening themes from the 1980's here... maybe mention a few.
The openings to Transformers Headmasters and Transformers Victory are freaking catchy. Choujin Masterforce? Not so much. Sounds like it should be a 1980's Miller Boyette produced sitcom...
UGH. Just UGH!
Okay, apparently when the internet got it's boxers in a bunch that this was going to feature women, and when he was being bombarded by death threats the first time, Paul Feig said that geek culture is full of buttholes. And now, said internet buttholes who acted like buttholes...
You know what? If horror films are going to descend into cheap jump scares, might as well make one based on the king of jump scares with a huge cult then mainstream following. I heard this was considered a while back. I never played the games, nor does it look like something in game form that...
PG movies used to have some pretty huge cuss words back in their day. Spaceballs surprised me in terms of how many precision S and F strikes being in a PG film. Even today, they didn't change the rating for that film's home release. AS I've said quite a few times before, the last time I saw a...
Mentioned that a while ago. Season 3 will be 13 more episodes to be released this fall. I'm guessing that they got 2 26 episode seasons, but decided to break the second season into a second and third season, probably to help prolong the toy line until the inevitable clearance from store...
Every once in a while something always tries to beckon me back into the franchise. Pinkie Pie's idea for a kid's book pretty much floored me in this comic preview.
It's a song about having a fight song. How the heck is that inspirational. It's the most shallow and nonsensical one of these, and it's clearly written to use at these kind of events. And it works. The old guy who owns the song's rights and probably the pop singer's soul is making hand over...
I really wish I could have had the chance to see Civil War, but was busy with FCBD on Saturday. But it looks like even taking away the North American Box Office, the film already surpassed that other Super Hero movie in just 2 weeks internationally vs DC's overall take. This was to be...
I hate admitting this, but as far as pop music tweens like, Taylor Swift isn't too bad. Her stuff is at least catchy. I'm no fan of pop music (with a wild, swinging variety of exceptions), but she's one of the better ones, I feel. At least she has a certain audience and it's not as vapid as...
I'd tend to think the Mario movie would at least been ehhhhh if you remove it from the franchise and called it something else. It still comes off as one of those odd 80's early 90's films that looks just like it. Something you'd see Cinema Snob drudge up, rather than Nostalgia Critic...
