We're all having such a fun time with the Spider-Man 3/Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and X-Men threads that I decided to make one for my personal favorite (human) Marvel hero, Iron Man, who will be making his way to the big screen exactly a year from today.
The film, which is...
You make a good point, but it's Fox. I'm not sure how much I trust the company that in turn trusted Brett Ratner to make a remotely entertaining X-Men movie.
I've heard several places other than here state the same thing, which is somewhat of a relief. Still, I'll believe it when I see it...
I agree. I was eleven when it happened, and I wasn't as in tune with the fan community as I am now. But if another one happens again... I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I'm sure some executive at Fox said, "How can we capitalize further on Jessica Alba's incredible sex appeal? LET'S MAKE ALL THE MEMBERS SWITCH POWERS, AND SHE'LL GET MR. FANTASTIC'S POWERS AND BE ABLE TO STRETCH ALL ABOUT AND WHATNOT. WHY AM I SHOUTING?"
I keed.
Just picked it up! Haven't watched any yet, but what a thrill it is to have this entire series on DVD. This makes Dinosaurs one of the few Henson series that has every episode available on DVD.
It's not hard to be excited for it. All the trailer and TV spots have been... well... fantastic. And what I read of the novelization really wasn't awful.

This is true... then...
I dunno. I desperately want a solo Silver Surfer film to be made... but Fox owns the character now, and you can't have a Silver Surfer without Galactus, and they also own Galactus, and now he's a cloud, and...
I hate life.
I haven't heard anything about that. A report was sent in to Ain't It Cool News from someone who had read the novelization, and said that Galactus was indeed a cloud.
Doug Jones (Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy) plays the Surfer himself through motion capture. Laurence Fishburne is the voice.
AND GALACTUS IS A CLOUD. A FREAKING STUPID CLOUD.
How did this thread slip under my radar?
I'm a GIANT X-Men fan. Like... immensely so. The comics, of course. I think that the film franchise is steadily going downhill, especially with the announcement that David Goyer (of all people!!!) is doing the Magneto movie. I don't hate Goyer, but I can...
