Oh yeah, i know the fun references to classic Sesame predate season 40 and i have no doubt they'll continue - i meant they need to keep up the tradition of including at least one in every episode!
Okay, thought i'd try this, but here's the catch - i'm behind on all the latest gadgetry so i don't have an ipod or anything to randomize my music collection so i'm instead approaching this "Mad Libs" style - putting together songs without looking at the questions and then seeing how they match...
3D? Don't see it happening. Too gimmicky, enough problems with budget, the whole episode would have to be all new content that would only be for that one show, and the main audience would be too young to appreciate it or wonder why they would need to put on 3d glasses.
Or did you mean an...
I was really pleased reading Bill's praise of the original MDA Telethon Johnny/Sal performance of Bohemian Rhapsody! That has got to rank as one of the all time funniest Muppet musical numbers and in my mind was truly legendary! One of the coolest thing about it was there was no need for fancy...
Oh THANK FROG everything seems to be resolved. Even if Gregg never updated the site again, it would be a shame to lose those archives! Hopefully things will be back to normal (even if it's been the "most recent version of normal" with all-Twitter, all the time and the main site getting the...
Both of you have very valid outlooks.
The thing to remember when discussing not just a large company but indeed a major corporation like Disney is that it's made up of a dizzying array of departments and people.
Thankfully (after a couple false starts), the Muppet brand in particular is...
We'll all have each others' backs here. In fact i may smell the newest reality show trend on the horizon...Muppet Fan Fit Club! Where cookies are a sometime food after years of umm-nam-nmm gorging Figgy Fizz is sacrificed for radishes and doozer sticks. During Sweeps Week, which will be...
...and that's why i suggested Gregg's stuff in particular as the bridge. Unless it was somehow tied with something that could drive people to clicking on an Amazon link like a product review, the ONLY news that was being posted on the main site written by someone other than Phil was from Gregg...
First of all Kevin, thank you for having a dedicated thread for this topic. Given some of the MC Forum's darker moments of suppression of gay perspectives (which ultimately causes major disrespect of the Muppets' gay fanbase), it's nice to see that level of respect/validation of MC's gay...
I'm right there with you. My 2010 resolution is to really knuckle-down and lose weight/get in better shape. It's not just a vein attempt at a resolution that just will be ignored later since i actually got a headstart the week before when i popped a pants button after my Christmas meal and...
Dinosaurs actually had intertaining clips shows...they actually were some of the series' highlights because of the fun ways they presented them.
And One Life to Live typically does a clip show when they have a major anniversary or landmark (like episode 10,000) and they're always well done...
It's not online yet - but soon will be!
I did indeed get my copy this last week and you guys who have been waiting to see this will NOT be let down! All the puppets (and their wintery costumes) look great! Lips still has his working fingers as part of the new puppet!
Dr. Teeth's nose...
I'm thinking maybe the Newsflash's loss could be the cue for Muppet Central to step up as a website...
There were some shared news items between Newsflash and MC and pretty much all the updates on the site (that weren't product reviews that conveniently link to an Amazon page which supports...
Don't be lost...in between the Newsflash's twitter feed, Muppetsstudio's twitter feed, toughpigs, mindset, this forum (and maybe my site a couple months down the road if my personal life gets back on track), you're covered.
...and if all that fails, you can always try Hare Krishna.
Yeah, that was definately Joey as Harvey.
I said it before, but it bears repeating...they SO need to make this a tradition from here on out beyond just season 40!
I think Lulu's being dropped wasn't so much due to her being a "flop" but rather because of Stephanie's unavailability once Avenue Q became a runaway hit.
