You actually know that? If that's the case, I have a question. Since you know about Elmo's talk show, maybe you know which/how many classic episodes will be featured?
Does anyone know exactly which episodes will be featured? In terms of classic episodes? Because keep in mind that a lot of the episodes they have already have a lot of edits in them, mostly Joe Raposo songs. Though they seemed to have resolved that issue. Do you think they could include them for...
I know that production of Season 51 has currently been halted, but that's not even what I'm talking about. I'm talking about episodes that have already been filmed, some have yet to air, and some have already aired ... that really would not be appropriate to show during this period of time we're...
Scott, please calm down. I wasn’t trying to get at you, I’m not asking for any of the episodes, I was just stating a possible theory. I know that you won’t share the episodes, which I can understand, but I would love to see them someday and I have been anxiously waiting for the launch of HBO Max...
I don't know if anyone noticed this, but they have recently updated some of the guides for episodes that have already been in the trade circulation for awhile. That is, they got clean copies of the episodes. Some of these episodes are 1836, 2226, 2486, 2876, 3006, 3010, 3136 and 3140. So I'm not...
That's exactly what I just found out. The episodes from 27-29 and 31-33 have always been on HBO (well, since SS premiered on there). I just hope HBO Max will be better than this. I wonder if this is what they're talking about...
You mean episodes that weren’t on HBO before? I’ll have to check this out. Exactly how much does it cost, and how many episodes do they have? Could I see a list?
You do make a good point. However, most of the classic episodes released on iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix, etc. were not that significant. I’m still not entirely sure why they chose some of those episodes. The earliest season they currently have on HBO that isn’t considered “classic” is season 41...
I just spoke to someone at HBO on the phone yesterday to ask about this, but unfortunately they didn’t seem to be of much help. This was a phone number I got off the press release. They said it probably wasn’t the right number, and so I asked “what is?” And the guy basically told me he doesn’t...
Has anyone here noticed that it's been quite a while since anything has been uploaded to the official Sesame Street YouTube channel? There was just something yesterday, but it was the first thing since before Christmas. What do you think the reason for this is? I wonder if it could be in prep...
Well, I knew the time would come pretty soon and I'm pretty sure you all did too, but it has finally happened. Carroll Spinney has died. The man behind Big Bird and Oscar for 50 years who has touched so many generations. I am like completely devastated. The only good thing I have to say is that...
I think "on-site" just means that it won't be available online, and you would have to go there to see the episodes. That's the impression that I got, anyway. I didn't see anywhere that you have to be a DC resident. Though it might just be more expensive if you're not.
Did you notice the part that said "and the public???" That's kind of why I thought it would be available to the public. And I mean it's possible that the woman you talked to didn't know anything. I do remember talking to someone at WGBH back in February, and they didn't tell me you had to have a...
I was actually kind of afraid of this the moment I heard about it. I actually talked to someone at WGBH awhile back and that wasn’t the impression that I got. But even if what this woman said is true, remember there’s also the Library of Congress. I think that’s a bit more public than WGBH is.
You know, that is actually a very good way to put it. When I first heard that a new channel called Noggin was going to be showing old SS episodes, I didn't know exactly how many they would be showing. And I kind of got the impression that they would have access to the entire library, rather than...
