To be honest with you, while I love DiCaprio and Winslet, my real love for this movie lies with all the lower class folks being left to die. It leaves an impression on you when you lean back and think, "Wow. this really happened. People really did this to other people."
I'm one of the few who liked the first one. I think it's ludicrous that everyone was disappointed by the fact that it wasn't "dark enough". I mean, c'mon, people - it's the Fantastic Four. Marvel's First FAMILY. Of course it's gonna be more lighthearted than other superhero films.
Muppet*Vision 3D was directed by Jim Henson, and at that point, the Muppets weren't officially owned by Disney, so you could blame the "fatso" remark on Jim and Bill Prady, the writer.
I know a lot of people thought that was cute, but it totally took me out of the movie. Well, not his first line, but when he turns and says something along the lines of "that's all I have to say"... it was too wink-wink for me.
I still can't decide whether or not I like this dang movie.
I guess the question now is, where do we go from here? It's already been announced that Spider-Man 4, 5, and 6 are going to be made, regardless of who comes back.
I think that, despite whether or not Raimi, Maguire, and Dunst come back, the fourth film needs to be smaller than the third. There...
I could go either way with this, actually. The Office does work incredibly well as a one-hour show, and I think it would be a good move. But it isn't like they're suffering, so I wouldn't mind if it didn't happen.
According to Thursday's Variety, there is consideration for expanding The Office from a half-hour to a full hour next year, when the show moves to the coveted 9 p.m. time slot previously held by Seinfeld, Cheers, and Frasier.
