Unfortunately I have a feeling it won't be that HD, just slightly upscaled, but still, that's a good enough way to start advent as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks for the heads up
Episode 3 of The Walking Dead they're talking about catching frogs to eat and say you'll be glad to have Kermit legs when we run out of food, to which the reply is "I'd rather eat Miss Piggy"
Just catching up with the Muppetcast and heard the news about the delayed release in the UK. Now for me living here I'm really mad about this! it was going to be the most anticipated thing about next year's holiday season. But now I have the problem of will I be forced to watch a cam version...
I settled this with her by using a photo line-up lol.
Turns out it was actually Nigel Plaskitt who gave the talk and spoke about his time on MCC and MTI and did a Kermit impression so she just got confused.
And there you have it :)
Thanks for all your inputs
Oh no, he wasn't performing. From what I was told he was in charge of the puppets and just gave a little speech about that, all the puppets they use in the show, the costumes, how they're shared between performers, and evidently who he was.
Sorry for any confusion there.
Apparently they know because he said it was him and did the voice. It seems very odd to me too hence why I started the topic. As far as I was aware the only link to the Muppets was the guy who made the puppets once worked at the Muppet Workshop.
And Kuriboh Man, I don't think of it as...
I've sent you a message.
That Kermit looks really good, How long have you been making puppets?
Do you get your fleece from Georgia Stage? What are the shipping costs like?
Hi all,
I'm only just starting to look in to puppet building and was wondering if I could get some advice on antron fleece. I read in an archived topic that it got changed somehow a while back. what is the difference between old and new, and how do both differ from normal fleece? Why is it the...
Hi I'm just starting to look in to puppet building myself and found this place for the foam http://www.pentonvillerubber.co.uk/foam.html
I believe it's reticulated foam you need. I've not purchased any yet but this is hat they said when I enquired about prices
We keep reticulated foam in...
I never knew any muppeteers were involved with Avenue Q, until last night when I was at a party and one of my friends told me "I saw the guy who does Kermit's voice once"
She went on to say that he was the puppet master for the show and gave an introductory speech when she saw it before it...
I can't remember when I heard about this first or when (but it was definately a fair time ago) But I'd totally forgotten about it until last night when my brother who is sick of hearing about Muppets came to ask me if I'd heard about it. I like the idea. i enjoy it when puppets get "edgy"...
Wasn't sure where to put this and couldn't see anything similar, but I thought this would be a great idea. One of the main things we all agree on as Muppet fans is their emotional strength is one of the main reasons we love them. So this thread is for everyone to write down any quotes they...
I got all excited when I saw "New Sprocket available" but then I saw the picture. It's a real shame because it looks like quite a nice dog plush. Just not a Sprocket one.
The Gonzo one is awful, but i really like the Da Vinci parody one and the London Calling parody is also quite cool. More so when you see the actual thing as I found. Each to their own though.
