Yeah there were a lot more. Rugrats was slightly different; as the baby version came first followed by a grown up version. But it was still based on the idea of the "baby cartoon", something Muppet Babies reinvented and made popular.
Muppet Babies does not fit into the "Muppet TimeLine", but it was not ment to. It was based on the "what if.." dream in Muppets take Manhattan...it is just a fun, entertaining, "what if"...not true Muppet history.
Remember Muppet Babies was the first successful show to take characters and put...
I agree, the style of animation used in this special was great. Some characters did look slightly different but the charm and story was still there and it did look awesome.
It was not about the revolutionary CGI to make it look "real" (yet it did not look cheap or cheezy), it was about...
Mine says 19 hours and 44 mins.
Why are they all different, if they should all be counting down to the same time? This is crazy! I really hope tommorrow (Wednesday) we see the site, and not a new countdown :smirk:
You are right, but Bill did help assist and puppeteer the character in some of the productions, so he did perform Dr. Teeth (or at least part of him). Plus the Wizard of Oz stuff say he's doing it.
Wow! Awesome Philip! The updated question is less tricky.
You could say that about almost any commercial. I personaly thing they are great. Remember the muppets started with commercials, I like how they keep comming back and staying in the public eye. It's win-win for the muppets and pizza hut. I think the commercials are great!
I ment my counter has always (and still does) point to that date/time it always has for me (and others who calculated it). I wonder why Warrick's is different.
Mine says 1 Day, 10 Hours and 2 Minutes this is at 2:53am Greenwhich Meantime.
The special editon came with bonus features such as the 50 min. Fraggle Song feature, and the Animated Fraggle Rock episode. Also the special edition is avalible everywhere whereas the regular is was only at Wal-mart and HIT! online.
Mine says 1 Day, 11 Hours and 59 Minutes this is at 12:55am Greenwhich Meantime.
If I calculate it out it points to the same date and time it always has (for me at least).
One-and-a-Half days left!
FYI - Actually it opens Wednesday, not tommorrow (Tuesday). It is one day (24 hours) plus some hours (which rolls it over to the next calendar day). The count down says it will launch at about 8:00AM Eastern on Wednesday or 5:00AM Pacific on Wednesday. But still I'm excited too. I know this deal...
I think Gonzo look awesome! This one looks like it is based off the book character, whereas the one in "the Muppets go to the movies" was based off the MGM movie character (with the funnel on the head and whatnot).
They all look great. It is amazing how much like a lion and how little like a bear Fozzie looks. Gonzo looks cool, and Kermit is awesome too.
They have used gonzo on a blue/green screens before. I think it is just cause he is the Tin-Man character. The tin-man was all tin (no human skin...
