Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Both good and bad. Good, because of the 5.1 mixes for TMM and GMC; bad, because it doesn't seem like 'Muppets Go Hollywood' will be included. Also, I hope that MCC and MTI are released in widescreen, but I also hope that the folks over at Disney realize the only way to get us to buy this is to...
Pretty well ALL Canadian commercials (especially the McCain ones) are highly annoying. I have the worst commercials of all time on the radio down my way: whiny kids talking to their "grampies" (grrr, I never use that) about pets for a local pet shop. Every time they come on, I want to kill my...
Too bad indeed. I never managed to pick up any of the Mini-Muppets (living in a smallish town really kills me), but the pictures that I've seen always looked really good. So, a series of SS minis would be nice.
Tough Pigs' Delphi boards always angered me. Cluttered interface, confusing "message" (take it literally) system, a LOT of ads, and I always had trouble logging in. It's not a shame though, as I've heard some negative things about TP.
I'm with you, rexcrk. The animated menus were a highlight of the disc for me. Personally, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the menus were kept the same and the content was altered. However, a change to the MCC menus would be welcomed, as the CG backgrounds there were a little unconvincing...
Absolutely. Personally, I'm with most of the cast in not liking the Hoedown that much. Why? It's used too much. Throw in a World's Worst every once in a while, for God's sake!
I can get you "Boom Shakalaka", and if there's any other MTI stuff you're looking for, I can probably get that to you as well. PM me and we'll talk, OK? :)
That reminds me of a story Robert Rodriguez told in his "Rebel Without a Crew" book. He says that after finishing "El Mariachi", he celebrated with a 4 AM meal at Fatburger, and he had done the same thing a few other times. I think he said that each time he had a 4 AM burger, it made other...
As soon as I get around to Pollick and he gets the stuff to me, the list will look like this. PLEASE note the change from "Never Smile at a Crocodile" to "To Morrow".
Disc 1: Movies
1) Nightlife
2) You Can’t Take No for an Answer
3) Scrooge
4) Room In Your Heart
5) It Feels Like...
Agreed on all counts. I used to really like Wayne, and I always thought he was the funniest cast member, mostly because of his work with "Song Styles". However, as time has progressed, Colin has become my favorite, with Greg Proops in a very, very, very close second. However, I have always...
Admit it, we've all got weird things that we do while watching movies. So, what are your odd habits?
I only have two. One is rather tame: I have to eat M & Ms while watching a movie. The other is kinda funny, but it only works when I'm watching the movie with my mother. We've devised a system...
I love it, Vic! Recognize the photo from the 'Show me your world' thread over in GD. Great job putting in the characters, can't wait for your next one. :)
I try to be pretty much myself here. However, I try to cut out a lot of my hostility (you ought to see me with guys I don't like), and I have to restrain my cursing, which is a constant part of my real-life persona. Of course, you can see that on the Rio Grande and Hera's forum. :)
Ah, Angus McGonagall (did I spell that right?), one of my personal favorite Muppets. I didn't know that he was in the background in the Gene Kelly episode, I'll go watch that later on.
"Ah, the stage is empty, my chance at last! Hit it, boys!"
If it's fictitious commercials you want, one need look no further than "WKRP in Cincinatti"...
Ferryman's, Ferryman's
He's the man with the plot, the man with the plan
Ferryman's, Ferryman's
He's the mortician man who loves you...
a lot!
