I personally think it's fun. I can spontaniously write little thoughts that pop up in my head during the day, talk about what I'm eating or where I'm about to go, etc. Little things that aren't important enough to put in your LJ or whatever, but you still feel like sharing. And if you get it set...
I'm so tired of the back and forth. Until I see a poster or something really official, I refuse to believe they're actually REALLY making a GB3 this time.
1. Yep, I had one. Got it for either my birthday or Christmas. Still have it somewhere.
11. Boy, I do remember the hype around this one! I believe I saw it in theaters.
12. The furby craze was CRAZY, wasn't it? Just nuts, and I still don't get why XD
14. I had a whole bunch of those...
I know it takes place in the "golden era," but if they'd tried to put it in more modern settings (70s, 80s or later), I was curious if they'd dip into characters we grew up with (and how disturbing it might be :P).
I think this time around it would be a lot harder to get Mickey and the gang...
I'm just so happy they're doing something 2D, and hope they'll continue to go back to their "roots" :) Will there be musical numbers? You have to have that!
^ It would also be really weird to see the more modern animated characters we grew up with (The Smurfs, Scooby Doo, Spongebob etc.) in something so "adult." I know the movie disturbed me on many levels ;)
Jetsons: The Movie. I must've watched it 50 times as a kid, the tape is as good as dead xD Saw it in theaters, too, so there's a high level of nostalgia.
Cool!
If I was famous, I would make it my GOAL to get on Sesame Street, no joke. I'd probably keeping call the company, begging or bribing. I'd prefer it be with Cookie Monster, though, no Elmo, if I had my choice ;)
When you say Oakland, MI do you mean Oakland County? If so I may have to go the distance and try to find it ;) I can just imagine driving up to somebody and asking where I can find Sesame Street.
