The Muppet line had the "Stepping Out" variants of the Muppets in formal where, based off the Stepping Out song from The Great Muppet Caper, and a bunch of muppets in formal wear were made. As seen in many movies/shows/special the formal Muppets were fitting. If Palisades did a bunch of Sesame...
Well, if anyone has episodes and can make screen grabs, please consider me. Or if you have any books or merchindice with pictures and would consider scanning. Or if you know places online that already have pictures. I would really like to get some pictures from Dog City for a project I'm working...
Does any one have or know where I could find some pictures from the Dog City TV show online? I've found 1 or two small and bad quality pics (mainly of Rowlf from the JHH special, the show logo, or of the Ace cartoon character). I'm looking for some pictures from the show (I would prefer some...
From what I gathered the old DVD from Disney is being pushed by the Muppet Holding Co. Disney put the disks back in production for the holiday/muppet push this year. So it is not a new product, just a new push of the same old one.
Before the Disney deal they were always "Jim Henson's Muppets". But now that the Jim Henson Company no longer owns the Muppets (look I said THE Muppets), Disney had to drop the Jim Henson's and added a new article. If the brand name and logo just said "Muppets" it would be awkward and whenever...
Some of the classic characters could still be around as secondary characters (maybe as older fraggles) who act as mentors to the new gang of fraggles; give advice, and share stories from their adventures as youth down at Fraggle Rock (may be even though in flash-backs to the classic episodes in...
I agree that if Fraggles ever returned that they should be new characters. Doc and Sproket have moved away, and Gobo, Wembly, Boober, Red, and Mokey should not try to make a come back (especially without Jerry as Gobo). A new group of Fraggles, Gorgs, and Human world characters would be fun and...
The concept of the Oz characters (Scarecrow, Witch, Wizard, Lion, Tin Man) reflecting people from "the real world" was a concept made by the MGM movie and subsequent plays, I doubt this version would use that element being they want to be seperate from the MGM movie and more like the book. (but...
I was just bracing myself for the possible attacks from the people who think Swamp Years is the worst and most evil production in Muppet history that would be upset that the Fraggles would ever be compaired to the production. I personally loved Swamp Years and would like to see more productions...
I think it would be wrong to bring them back now, 20 years after the fact. With Richard and Jerry gone, (and performers aging) it wouldn't be the same. I think Henson should create a new show with new characters, a new concept, but the same good old Henson magic. Let's not ruin the legacy of...
That would make a cool repaint/varriant for Big Bird! It would also be cool if the regular Big Bird came with a clip-on striped tie, Little Bird, and Radar.
Now that Palisides is producting Sesame Street figures, what are your wishes to see from the line. Who (or what) would you like the creators to produce in the Sesame line?
I like how they are not only doing the current character but also some of the old ones. Here are my wishes of who will be...
Last night on Comedy Central's Last Laugh 2004, comedian Bill Engvall (Blue Colar TV) jested about the Muppet's Wizard of Oz (and Quentin Tarantino's cameo). Here is his joke:
"And now, now Quentin Tarantino is teaming up with the Muppets, yes that's right. Oh you can't make this kind of stuff...
Did you ever see him smoke-up? No. That's crazy! He is a puppet, what you see on camera is all there is to him, he is not a real person. If him being "out there" is bad then I think a lot of the muppets would be gone (like Gonzo). If the reason they got rid of Zoot is cause he "acted" somewhat...
