I don't know. It depends on what is considered "edgy and trendy". The Muppets shouldn't be like South Park or Crank Yankers edgy.

When Fox announced their fall schedule, they also listed two or three midseason replacements, none of which included the Muppets. I think Fall '03...
Apparently racing has the same PR firm as baseball...
There was a shot of the Animal car with the hood all dinged up after some sort of minor crash, and they did mention Fozzie when that car dropped out of the race. (Actually the one announcer had to ask another announcer who it was...)
There...
Well, I know Ken and gang are busy moving, so perhaps I can fill in a little from my retail/production background...
Keep in mind that not just anybody can walk up to Toys R Us and have them buy something. You have to have some sort of established name to even get in the door. (The last thing...
I actually have him and Piggy sharing a base (one peg per character) with one arm around the other and it's solved my slumping Kermit problems.
Of course, that left Bunsen wearing the boa but I think that belongs more on a thread Quinn started...
I saw the S/W one for the first time last night. I think it's in a really long line like "Did you know you can get.....yadda yadda...blah blah...for only $8.99?" where the voice sounds the oddest. The shorter little lines don't give you as much chance to notice.
IMO of course.
Had to trim that down a bit, but I wanted to know if that was just a phrase, or if the Muppets really are the biggest selling line.
If so- cool!
If not- well, it's only Series 1...
:)
MTV
Yeah, I caught it this morning while avoiding getting up. Actually first I saw the MTV News where Kurt Loder talked about the big Puppet Video fiasco (Does that other band seem like a bunch of high schoolers or am I just old?), then Kurt mentioned the Weezer video was in rotation on MTV2...
Vanished Fozzie
Someone else asked this, but I think it got missed. Will Fozzie be 100% clear, or partially painted?
(Personally I'd think having only his hands painted would be best...maybe his nose too...)
I know, I know! That other super clever puppet show that got chased off the air before it's time...MST3K!
I have the Clowns In The Sky CD around here somewhere!
Now did I get that answer in just under the wire? I'd just like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the support...
Speaking of avatars, I keep hearing this talk about Ken being folically challenged, but there's no telling by his picture...
:)
I wish the posts would keep the original poster info/avatars next to them though...
I don't know if I'd blame Lucas as much as his legal arms. He seems to have a pretty good sense of humor (letting Dirth Nader exist in the first place and continual Weird Al parodies) but I imagine it's like the U2/negativland situation a few years back.
