I got the larger (w/sculpted "Fraggle Rock" logo in cave) set when it was first released, and I love the look of it on my DVD/blu-ray shelf!! To open it up when we want to watch them is a bit cumbersome (remove Fraggles cover, wrestle binder out of the box, then flip through until finding...
I know! He's the coolest looking character from the Fairy School segments, real classic Muppet Monster Workshop look to him. I really, REALLY hope he gets released in a 2-pack someday down the line.
My Walmart stocked a new case of figures recently, picked up a Cookie & Telly pack tonight...
Hee-hee-hee! And maybe even a snicker. ;) Wasn't a true test anyway, no worries! This thread has been officially revived, I don't think even my exceedingly magnificent Thread Killing skills are any match for it now. A shame to look back on what once was, knowing I shall (hopefully) never rise...
Yeah, what gives Disney? :) I'm staying positive and hopeful that we'll see an avalanche of new Muppet Stuff to coincide with the new movies' home release.
Agreed. Cuz since when has his "face" ever been the same color throughout? Never, that's when. Hopefully they'll be able to apply some kind of paint variation for his nose, buuuuuuut... it's not a deal-breaker IMO. He's really cute-lookin'. ;) Well, with pupils added a' course! :D
Agreed, those were excellent! That commercial was so awesome, I don't see how any kid or collector could have passed them up! Man, Disney could have a heyday with this stuff, now only if they had featured Snerfs in the new movie, ha. ;)
Oooooooooh, Doctor Who? YEAH! All I have as far as props are CO''s 10th Doctor Sonic... well, thats all, lol. Looking to get the 4th Docs' Sonic, and to someday build my own K9. Oh, and this year my wife is going to knit me a season 16/17 scarf!! :D Super excited about that. A life size TARDIS...
Ha ha ha! Well, just tell them that I makes the room look bigger! Lol. Cool that so many fans are getting to take this stuff home, instead of it ending up in a landfill. Seagulls don't tend to appreciate the Muppets very much. :/
What a great opportunity for puppeteers! Good of you to offer this. Will you be recording your show, and sharing it on YouTube afterwards? I'd really love to see new and unknown puppeteering work.
Cheers!
:)

Dude, Melvin is AWESOME!! Really great design and craftsmanship. Cool that you gave him legs as well, too many puppets these days have just an arm sleeve (which I know why, it's just nice to include legs sometimes, lol). Your Melvin voice fits him perfectly! Hopefully whoever wins him will...
A fantastic find fer sure! :) This is one of the few sketches I remember from my childhood, it was reinforced greatly by being included in "The Muppet Show Book", ha.
Do you plan on framing it, or maybe displaying it on an easel as seen in that episode? Either way would look gorgeous for such...
