Cool!
I know that I'll buy Oscar and Big Bird. Is that a Sesame Street "set" that the figures are set up on? I wonder if it too will be made available to collectors, or is just decoration to help show off the figures?
My father went to high school with Paul Benedict and used to tell me that he auditioned for a play, and dragged Paul along (under protest) to help him read lines. It's funny how Paul went on to an acting career. My father eventually became a radio personality
Come join the Caroll Spinney boards!
I joined the Official Caroll Spinney web board and see that it's a lonely little board. Please consider joining it so we can all chat about the man beneath the grouch.
Now scram! :grouchy:
You're welcome
This is one of the cool things about the puppetry community, everyone is willing to help eachother and share information. I am sure that you will be able to help someone out one day.
I too love MFS! So tell us what puppets you operated in the film. You have lived the wish that many fans here have had, working on a Muppets film.
To that I salute you! :)

I am a book seller, and see many TMS & SS books.

As far as...
Orange Oscar!
I love Oscar The Grouch (see icon)
When I tell people that he was originally orange, they think that I am making it up. I even had the wonderful opportunity to meet the Orange Oscar when I was a child!
I first watched Matt's "Gordon" as a child. I never realized that another actor had taken on the role. Now I watch Sesame with my daughter and really like Roscoe. The "Trash Gordon" bits always give me a chuckle.
I'd like to see a DVD that included the three faces of Gordon, showcasing all...
I am sure there are lots of Big Bird/Oscar fans out there!
I recently joined The Official Caroll Spinney Web Board and would love to have more people to chat with.

Low on dough too
I too will not attend since it is far to expensive for me and my family to attend. I'll do my tiny part by pasting the following message from PoA:
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE encourage folks to go to the national fest in MN this summer! It is gonna be AMAZING! Read below for...
I am so excited about the Cincinnati Area Puppetry Guild's new web page that I wish to share it with all the puppetry people who hang around MC.
Here's the link: http://www.puppetrevolution.com/capg/
and here's a link to a photo taken during a demonstartion that I gave at NDoP 2005...
I recently found a used VHS tape of this wonderful show for $3.00 at Half Price Books. Gosh, I miss this show. Whenever I mention it to "non-puppet" people, they always seem to say that they disliked it. I can't be the ONLY fan of this TV show.
Does anyone know if it will ever be released...
I agree!
