Jim Henson Idea Man
Remember the life. Honor the legacy. Inspire your soul. The new Jim Henson documentary "Idea Man" is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
well, i agree, but I think I'd stick with Bear's idea. The Rainbow Connection would be plenty. Have a nice swamp scene, Kermit's log, Kermit & Banjo, have an animatronic alligator (*ARNIE*) LOL and behind him would be a large screen with quick clips of "the Muppet Movie" playing. And I don't...
Well, I think the puppet was really blue for if you look, the strands in the feathers have a yellow fade to them. The chase scene had a lot of sunlight spotlighting Big Bird (blue) , so I think they dyed the feathers a baby blue. I read in SS Unpaved that they make like a new Big Bird puppet...
EXACTLY! I've never known of anyone that has loved this movie as much as I do. :) It's a great movie! It needs to be treated as one! I bought the DVD two years ago when I was at the beach. The year before I had bought the soundtrack. I give the soundtrack 4 stars! But the DVD, I give it 2...
Y'know, I was born in '87 when the series began. Of course, re-runs came on now and again and mom taped some of them for me so I could watch them. Now, I don't know where they are! I hope they come to DVD soon!
I was also one of the lucky few to get the Fraggle Rock cars that they sold in...
I've noticed that practically every guest has sang a song of some sort. Although my two favorite song numbers were Kermit and Debra Harrey singing "Rainbow Connection" in the back dressing room and the Muppets attempting to get John Cleese, who is a brilliant actor, to do a song.
Wasn't there also a Sesame Street Live show that was sort of based on this film? If so, was Miss Finch in it? I've read about it before on the Sesame Street Live Website about Big Bird running away to join the circus, but I'm not too sure.
I just want to know so much about this film, I'm...
You're right Bear, for I've found old tapes of Elmo when he sounded a lot different than he does today.
But again, does anyone know the whereabouts of the Blue Big Bird or Miss Finch?
Disney Attractions with Muppets
I've been to Disney a good four times. Everytime I go, I always go to Muppet Vision 3*D. It's one of my favorite attractions from all four Disney Theme Parks. I even got my picture with Kermit and Piggy. It was great. The fountain, the music playing throughout...
The Blue Bird
Also, what ever happened to the Blue Big Bird puppet? I'm guessing they either destroyed it or it's in storage. And what about Miss Finch? I think the following season of Sesame Street should have Miss Finch return to check in on Big Bird which would also give us a follow up on...
Ronnie Milsap
So, "Working on My Attitude" isn't listed at the end of the credits? I have the "Follow That Bird" soundtrack and it's listed as Ronnie Milsap singing that song. Alabama was singing "All Together Now". I love both of those songs. I've also heard there was a music video to...
Follow That Bird Needs A Tune Up!
I wish they would put out a new DVD for "Follow That Bird", a "special edition" typed DVD. It would have animated and interactive menus and so much more! It should have a "making-of-featurette", audio commentary with the director or even the star Caroll...
This Is My Favorite Film - Ever!
I love this film! It's nothing but fun! Although I love "The Blues Brothers", this one takes the award. Big Bird has and always will be my favorite Muppet. Then, having him star in his own motion picture was ten times better! Everytime I watched this film I...
So Many Tear Jerkers....
For me, there were so many moments in the Henson that lead me to tears. For instance, when I was a child, I watched "The Muppets Take Manhatten" for the first time on tape. I was very young at that time. I was watching the scene where Kermit has just found out that he...
