Classic Muppets filming NBC Christmas special

The Muppet Newsflash can be sited as saying an hour long special... wait, no it can't. But they do have an AWESOME new picture up on the article! ! ! So I'm not sure how long... I think somewhere said an hour long though.

I do too! I was just pointing out that all of the Muppet feature projects or specials had sad moments in them that required some uplifting--which is what the Muppets do best.

Classic Muppets filming NBC Christmas special

That estimation is not a very good one, really. Most of VMX is the same inspired silliness that made the Muppets famous. Even in the "alternate universe" there's still some very funny moments--such as Gonzo's dancing brick, Animal river-dancing, and Johnny Fiama bartending. You really should see...

    TV Comeback for Muppets?

Ooh I'm sorry but that's a very wrong statement. TMS was geared towards everyone. As the original pitch tape says, "Dirty cynical hippies will love our dirty, cynical Muppets!" Jim wanted The Muppet Show to be fore everyone. Not just adults or kids or men or women or chickens. Jim wanted...

Five Years, and Still Snowthing: A Retrospective

Hmm... didja get d'at permit? ;) But seriously... the mods probably don't realize that it's become necessary Snowthy. They don't read EVERY post ya know, so I suggest PMing them again... that'll probably get the point across.

Exactly! And Pooh... I really hate to tell you this, but lately that's what you've been doing every time you post. I understand if you posting that is your own opinion and I would LOVE for you to post that! But when you contradict yourself by playing devil's advocate, as Jamie said, it really...

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Oh man! I didn't know that that was available! Ugh! I totally would've gotten it if I had! I just got the regular one from Best Buy... it came with a script from "The Dinner Party" though. So that's cool.

    Inside the Muppet Studio

From the Tongue-in-Cheek Perspective of Kermit the Frog Step, step, sliiiiide, step, step, slide! Fozzie slid past. Gonzo stepped in time. Step, turn, kick, twist, flash pose! “And… cut!” shouted the familiar voice of director Kirk Thatcher. The sound of electrical equipment shutting...

    Inside the Muppet Studio

Hello everyone! So... I said I would be taking a break from writing after WAD... but... I couldn't contain myself. This is planned to be a series of short stories that don't have anything to do with anything really... just for fun. So... enjoy! :D

That actually happened. Which is why you should see VMX. It's really a powerful scene and makes sense in the context of the movie.

    TV Comeback for Muppets?

Brian has nothing to do with the Muppets anymore--aside from possibly performing Sal or Dr. Phil van Nueter. But now that the Muppets have been sold to Disney he no longer has creative control over what they do, really. Unless I'm confused in the outlines of the negotiations with Diz.
