Thanks Caroline. And does my image of what happens to the third pig sound feasibly plausible to you? Since after all, we never see his legs as he falls therefore the boulders could have literally squashed him flat as he went down, couldn't they?
Then again if as I speculated before he didn't...
:D And since this thread was brought back I'd like to say something to my favourite Kathy Greenwood loving Snowth.
Come over here a moment buddy. Please don't be shy.
That's it. Now I can give you my special message.
(gets him underneath the armpits)
TICKLE TICKLE TICKLE TICKLE TICKLE TICKLE...
The deliveries were well done today. We only had a couple left over who we couldn't find or weren't at home when we did find them.
It wasn't too bad at that. We had a good time sharing drinks and nibblies afterwards.
Hey. This is the 300th post now:excited: Isn't that fantastic?
I may be racking my brains for something to post but this thread is still strong as ever.:D
So very true. To many people it's just a holiday to celebrate the upcoming new year and if anything they think that the Christian Churches merely choose to celebrate the so-called birth of their Lord and Redeemer on it.
I just thought maybe Statler and Waldorf had paid off the goat or goats to hurt the poor, innocent piggies. Maybe they had seen on the show's programme for that week that this number was going to be performed by the pigs, decided they couldn't bear it if nothing went wrong and bribed the evil...
Wow. Your house must be getting quite a sight to see. :)
I went on the annual Christmas Lights tour last night and I always enjoy them.
Don't worry about your mother Snowthy. People can change their attitudes about things. Maybe she doesn't even realize she's contradicting herself because she's...
I wonder sometimes if they could have theoretically grabbed part of the mountain to stop their fall.
But as I pointed out the first pig's scream was quickly cut off so by the time he could have reacted to try to save himself it was too late. He had already hit bottom.
As for the second one he...
Actually even if the other two had finished verse 2 safely and they began singing "O may we go a-wandering until the day we die."
I wonder if the second pig still feeling a little nervous after what happened to their buddy, may have interupted the other one saying, "Please. Don't say until the...
Yes the illusion was a superb accomplishment. In fact the way I look at it I figure when the boulders hit him they first cause him to cry out the final word of the song in pain as the first one lands upon his toes. But even as that happens he is pushed over backwards as his whole feet and then...
I love the second piggies scream as well. In fact as I listen to it personally I cannot help but wonder if there is an element of shock and horror meant to be in it particularly. After all he had obviously assumed he was going to survive. The way he nodded at the rope when his buddy verified it...
Incidentally Caroline you have said earlier that the screams of the pigs were a good job done by the Muppeteers and yes they were.
In fact all three of them were superbly handled. The first piggies scream is very brief, whereas the second piggies scream sounds masterfully slightly longer to...
HA HA HA Yeah Caroline. That sounds just like the sort of thing you might see in a cartoon such as Bugs Bunny. And you're right that the Muppets could be rigged up to do it easily but in the context of this hilariously tragic sketch they wanted all the pigs to be killed in a straight-forward...
The last two episodes on disc 7 commence the sequel.
It starts off with all the Scouts and Darian living their own ordinary lives when one night something comes crashing to Earth leaving an enormous crater in the middle of the road.
But there is nothing to be found in the bottom at all. In...
Oh yeah. Must treat them gently on the way to their death, right.
Maybe the final blow when they hit the bottom was so quick they didn't have time for any real pain at all.
And maybe it was quick for their leader buddy as well. Especially if the rocks literally ran over the top of him. It's just...
I wonder if the three goats were able to play with the first two piggies on their way down. Tossing them from one pair of horns to the next like children play catch with a ball before finally discarding them to go splat at the bottom of the mountain. And maybe the boulders getting the last one...
