How about CW. They don't get the best ratings, but they will nurture a show with moderate success. Muppets could be their highest rated show...and they saw success for Muppets this year when they aired letters to Santa. I think the best thing for them to do would be to film a pilot and shop it...

I wouldn't worry about ticking people off too much. I'm fairly conservative and I think FOX news is a little to over the top. Reminds me of the Red Scare in a lot of ways.

Being Elmo is on Netflix right now. Wish I could have seen it in theaters though.

I've seen a worse big bird. We had a store that said they had big bird apearing as a promotion for PBS. It looked like a ratty duck suit, Nothing like Birg Bird.

Hmmm I was thinking Piggy wouldn't wind up in rehab but she has been in jail. I could see Piggy in Jail with Lohan as cameo. They can even make a joke about them getting releeased because of over crowding and how they can't keep celbrities in too long or something...though I don't like the idea...

This is a very good point.... lately it seems that everyone want to have themselves associated with the Muppets. Lindsey Lohan says she wants to be in the sequel, Fox News makes their comments, now this. I guess there really is no such things as bad press.

Maybe they should just do this as a graphic novel or picture book...those look great. I wish they would take the approach they did with Mirror Mask...the movie might not do well at the box office but might make its money on DVD sales and a cult following(similar to what happened with labrynth...

I can't really see how Frank OZ was that upset...it feels like a very unpolished script. It seemed very rough with room open for better characterization. I can't imagine that a seasoned film veteran like Frank Oz couldn't tell that this needed a lot of work. The basic idea is there and that did...

I think the over exposure of the classic stories didn't help it much...and the whole Disney buying Marvel...
