If your male It's really hard to do female characters, for me I had a female puppet that I did over a period of several Years. It got to the point that it hurt to do the voice, and If I was doing a Show or (childrens Church)service my voice was gone for the rest of the service. I eventually...

I think Muppet Fans need to fess up and admit that the new muppets suck! If we stop buying there stuff they'll change. I really think a new puppetry group needs to be created with all new characters, on the same freuquence but different. We need New Puppet Icons!

When I started making Puppets I always forgot to add seam allowance and wonder why my puppets looked like junk. the Seam allowance should be 1/2 in. to 3/4 in. bigger than your hand. Practice drawing around your hand to you get the shape you want cut out pattern and save it, you never know...

Yeah, if your Low buget that would work great I have use them before and worked ok, But if you want to check out professional light San Antonio should have a theatical supply in the phone book, check them out and may be they can sell you some used one's, I have done that for Our puppet team here...
