    How does one "puppeteer"?

If you are a parent, as I am, try performing in front of your child. I lip-sync along to CDs to practice mouth movements. Sometimes I just improv, and do a whole "show". My daughter LOVES it, and it helps me practice with glove puppets.

    How does one "puppeteer"?

Practice, practice, practice. Then practice some more. Join Puppeteers Of America too. Oh, I know there are Toronto puppet people. You need to keep looking behind the curtains. :)

    Big Big World

I too enjoy this program. It seems that the entire background is CGI, so the puppets are all in front of a green screen. I think they are calling the technique "Shadowmation". I wonder what "Super-Shadowmation" will look like? ;)

    Oscar puppet question

I have met Caroll a few times, and even "guarded" Oscar for him. He told me that the only original parts of Oscar from 1969 are the eyes & mechanism to make him blink. The rest gets rebuilt every several years.

Classic songs you'd love to see remade and by which characters

The classics just don't sound very good when they are rerecorded, why not just rerun the clips. I too would love to see "I Love Trash" make a comeback. My daughter loves that song and dances to it when we play it for her on CD.:grouchy:
