Now THIS is a fun discussion! I am very into small details like these. They really make the show what it is. :excited:
Unfortunately, all I can think of off the top of my head is a scene in "Boober's Dream" where Gobo and Wembley are discussing Boober, and Gobo says “I love Boober, too, but...
Welllll... Labyrinth IS my all-time favorite movie, always has been, and always will be. I've been watching it ever since it first came out on video in the 80's, and I have seen it so many times that I have the entire thing memorized, down to the last line of dialogue. On top of all that, I...
One of the best moments in the episode. XD My mom's favorite part was when Gobo said "You couldn't lead your way to that rock!" and Uncle Matt responds with "What, this rock? This rock here? This rock, Gobo?" She always laughed so hard at that. ^__^
That was one of my mom's favorite Fraggle Rock songs! She loved Mokey, especially her singing voice. "Ragtime Queen" was one of her favorite Mokey songs, the other being "Show Me More" from the episode "A Brush With Jealousy."
"Everything is important. Either that or nothing is."
"I'm starting to think everything is magic... if you see it that way."
"The magic is always there, as long as we keep looking for it."
"We each lead ourselves, and we all lead each other."
The Storyteller used to be one of my favorite characters when I was a kid (I'm 32 now). Red was my very favorite, but I liked the Storyteller so much that I started wearing an old pair of glasses I found so I could look like her. They were prescription glasses, so they gave me a headache and...
I distinctly remember Fraggle Rock playing regularly on TNT in the eighties. I even still have the old VHS tapes I recorded back then, complete with commercials that advertise what station it's on. In the early nineties, Fraggle Rock came on the Disney channel every weekday. Oxygen was another...
"Children of Tomorrow" from the episode "A Tune For Two" (also played during the end credits of the Fraggle Rock documentary hosted by Jim Henson). And of course the "Fraggle Farewell" version of it that is extremely hard to find (but luckily I managed to burn a copy on a CD before it seemingly...
Really? Do you mean the lines were re-recorded later in a sound booth or something? Because when you said 'cut lines' I thought you meant like deleted scenes.
My mom was a Fraggle Rock fan too. She passed away in 2009, but I remember a couple of lines she always laughed heartily at.
One line was in one of the earliest episodes ("Wembley and the Gorgs" I think). Gobo says "It would be hard to have an argument with you, Wembley."
Another line was in...
Why did you make this a sticky thread? I don't believe it's an important enough topic to be sticky, and it is very annoying having to scroll past all of these sticky threads to get to the REALLY interesting (and recently updated) threads.
