Joe did Muppet Show songs? Which ones? I remember Zoots' line but didn't get the joke. What is the Rembrandt exhibit? And is The National Gallery like an art gallery? I think I might know what the gag is but I'm not 100% sure.
Oh Yes Nightlife from Great Muppet Caper. How could I forget that. For the record, that's my favorite Dr. Teeth song and "Love Ya To Death" is probably my second. I want Disney to release Muppet Movies albums on iTunes so I can put it on my ipod. :) I love that song! That was Joe Raposo who...
Another one I liked was "Fugue For Frog (aka new Muppet Show theme that never was)" "Mup-Mup-Muppet SHOW!!!" (loud out of tune trumpets) lol
Kermit: See, I already love that part.
Floyd: Good 'cause you'll hate the rest.
lol
And for some reason, not really a Dr. Teeth song but this came to...
I was thinking that also. Though this reminds me, how come Jerry Juhl wasn't involved with Muppets Tonight? Was that around his retirement? I remember hearing something about him retiring before he passed away.
My favorite is "Love Ya To Death". The lyrics are so violently funny. lol Probably Crazy Harry's favorite too. "I'm gonna explode an Atom Bomb, oh oh," lol It was in the 2nd pilot and it ended up on an episode as well.
Plus I love it when Floyd sang "Sunny" and Animal ruins it. lol
Statler: Is that a tupay your wearing or did your cat die!
Waldorf: Let's put this show out of it's missery
(Both have guns and shoot the stage)
Statler: We didn't miss them, we were shooting blanks.
Waldorf: We were?
Statler: Oh Course.
Statler smacks the machine gun and it points to...
Wow Cool, he was a Muppeteer since the 1970s and I never even heard of him until now. I hope is cancer gets better. I just checked out his Muppet wiki article :)
And I think that's one the great things about The Muppets and even fans. We all love them for so many different reasons. Like me, for the humor. Others for the characters, Some for the positive heart-filled moments of harmony, etc. It's great. :)
I personally miss that element of The Muppets. The weirdness, the wackiness, and the bad jokes, anything for a laugh style. Mentioning the Monty Python style humor, I think British Humor totally influenced The Muppets a great deal in the later Muppet Show episodes, esspecially when Chris Langum...
Perhaps a TV Special or even a direct to DVD / Blu-ray/ digital video sort of thing. If Frank written it with perhaps Brian Henson and they worked on it together. I'm sure it would be pretty good. And like you mentioned about fans. I've noticed The Muppets became sort of a cult following for...
Hmm, never heard of HouseSitter. I heard Stepford Wives was bad, same for Bowfinger but I still need to check them out since I'm sort of a see it for myself kind of person. lol I liked Muppets Take Manhattan but yeah it's a little confusing. "Kermie, remember you said that we can not get married...
I rarely seen the movie myself. I think I seen it when I was under 10 years old. Though listing to the 80s music from that clip last night, I really like that then I remembered. Oh yeah, it's a musical. lol There was some Henson folk involved in that right? Wasn't Heather Henson wearing braces...
Isn't there a Canadian Comedy Central page? I know there's international South Park Studios sites to watch episodes in different countries so there's got to me ones like this for the other shows.
I think the episode reruns tonight.
I love what The Jim Henson Company was doing with chroma key effects for a full 20 minute show at the time. It went beyond typical sets. They had trees and buildings moving. Sure it wasn't the best CGI animation but it was at least ground breaking at it's time. I only liked season 1 because...
Anyone catch the Colbert Ernie and Bert remark "It's a straight situation right?" and Frank shook his head yes with a serious straight face. I think that was a bad question. I love Ernie and Bert, Bert is probably my favorite Frank character out of all The Muppets. Ernie and Bert were always my...
Yeah I've meet puppeteers and voice actors and they are very casual which is really cool because that's how I am and totally the same feild which I really want to be in. :) Advice I've gotten and learned through the years is follow your dreams no matter what. And the results come out...
