Come on, we as MB fans can do a LOT better than this!!
BJ
I'm listening to it now (THANKS MOM!!)
It's amazing!
I thought Dr. Teeth sounded amazing, tbh. Rowlf coming back is also good. Trust me, I heard more of Bobo in :D than in :sympathy: .
Miss Piggy's rendition of Santa Baby is HI-LARIOUS!! Now I can imagine no one else singing Santa...
Actually, that clip, as well as the Wizard of Oz clip, showed up on the video releases. I daresay all the episodes I have on video are complete.
So, there'd be no problem with putting those on DVD.
What's the issue here??
BJ
My least faves...
Harvey Korman-love him to death, his episode sucks.
Carol Burnett-WTH were they thinking with that Dance Marathon bit??? More of Carol would have been nice.
Paul Simon-love his music, he just looked forced to me.
Steve Martin-forced laugh tracks NEVER do it for me...
Wait a sec...is this bomb shelter IRL (in real life) or here on these forums??
If it is an IRL bomb shelter, I'd be happy to come and meet you guys, most of you for the first time.
BJ
OMG Barry, that is an AMAZING clip!! I had never seen any Sam and Friends before this and it's amazing that only 2 years ago, I did my senior project on Jim and mentioned S&F in passing. Do you post these kinds of clips often?
BJ
MY THOUGHTS:
It is obviously a great book, spelling errors overlooked. You can almost expect them these days.
Kevin actually is getting much more respect from me. I understand now what he's doing for the kids.
Maybe I should write to him and explain where I think SS needs to go in the...
Here's my take on this:
I haven't gotten to take a look at Turtle Talk yet, but I will on my next trip.
I don't give a rip about how the characters sound (save for Fozzie...he sounded TERRIBLE in MWoO...) and seriously, they got the technology down.
Now, for a little blueberry muffin...
Yeah, that was one weird-arse deal when Oswald the Lucky Rabbit came to Disney for Al Michaels and some sports highlights to be named later.:D (MUFFIN)
BJ
Yeah, I took what I saw here with a grain of salt. The Muppets are kinda popular still, so I'd be surprised if we actually saw the closing of MV3D at DCA.
BJ
Wait, you're showing them Family Guy?? Were there any Muppet references on the episodes you're showing them?? Family Guy: Subliminally Turning FG Fans Into Muppet Fans, One Reference At A Time.
Seriously, guys, stop whining.
You really want it done right, and Disney is trying much harder...
Hey, did they just cut the airplane scene from the RMH DVD? If so, VHS, here I come!!!
I am also a HUGE John Denver fan, I remember exactly where I was when I heard he died, and I remember how sad I was. What a great guy and a huge loss to not only the music community, but also to the...
Blue Weirdo, you are AB-SO-LUTELY correct!!!
In fact, I was seriously thinking of putting all my old VHS tapes into my computer, burn them to DVD, copy them using a professional copier, have a professional labeler on hand, label em, and sell em to those of us who miss these old shows, such as...
Sorry Lamina...
I don't get on here as often as I should...
Oh my God, that'll be SO nice! I'll get to watch some of my favorite old episodes again, plus some new ones (to me at least).
Lemme get back to ya on the 4 tapes thingy, as well as the shipping charges...
I'd probably get a...
Well, as someone else said, it's Disneyland, not Disney World. Disney World's MV3d will be around for YEARS to come, because it's the 3rd most popular Disney-MGM Studios attraction (!).
