That I understand as I've said before I'm in between. The only thing that still rubs me the wrong way is they tried to offer him a Disney Legend award and to say he's "retired from the muppets" and all he had to do to was to sign a NDA. That's just super sketch and I'm glad he didn't!
I think we all recognize Matts talent so that one you can stop repeating. Nobody is trying to scapegoat him. Of course I can't say that for everyone on the forum but, most of us love Matt and he is a tremondesly talented performer and a great guy! Same thing with the Hensons, again I can't say...
So everything comes back to Steve with you huh? I'm not a blind follower of Steve I am in between, but it sounds like you really don't like Steve after reading the hundreds of pages over the months. So you must be happy at least..
What's fresh and new? Matts Kermit? That's all that's fresh and new for the Muppets other the Peter having a few more characters to do. I think like everyone else is saying they need to build up for a tv show and or movie. Then when the time is right then of course they should!
Like everyone else has said a tv show is not a great idea right now. And it's not because Matt is Kermit and Steve is gone. I think we need another year or so. Let them do live shows for a bit and possibly a tour!
Anybody have the M11 iTunes deluxe edition bonus track of mostly Steve Whitmite singing Rainbow Connection and the muppets come in towards the end. That version is always so beautiful and I wanted to buy it on iTunes but they don't have it anymore!
Way better quality video of Rainbow Connection man that number is beautiful!

Also this clip from tonight's rainbow connection performance sounds like Paul Williams might be singing live and possibly Matt as Kermit cause you can clearly hear Kermit...
It could have been Peter Linz or it could have been someone else cause someone on here thought Peter looked like Brian Henson under Robin in the frog number. I assume Brian wouldn't be there.
As long as they come to Portland or Eugene Oregon I would be fine. We have a huge outdoor amphitheater in Eugene that would be perfect for a muppet stage show!
Edit: On a side note I really wish we had an MP3 of Matts version of Rainbow Connection! It was so beautifully done. Because we have...

They also did the last verse of The Magic Shop after rainbow connection plus Crazy Harry starting up the fireworks! Matt sounds great here too!
