No, IMDB has a lot of wrong information on this film (and the Fraggle Rock film). Most of the information on IMDB is added by users and not checked. A lot of assumptions are posted and taken as fact. Don't always trust IMDB when it comes to not-yet-released film information.

I'd love Rizzo (or another muppet rat). I don't have the room to have a full-scale Fozzie and Piggy on display. But a scale Rizzo would be awesome! Plus I just love the little rat.

Both are Disney owned. Disney has both Muppet Classic Theater and all 3 Tales from Muppetland specials.

HIT Entertainment signed an agreement with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for sales and distribution of their properties - this includes Fraggle Rock and the other Henson stuff they have. HIT Entertainment will still produce and create the videos/DVDs/etc (so quality/quantity of releases...

It is currently planned to have somewhat of a "limited theatrical release", so don't expect to see it playing at your local mall or every cineplex...but it may possibly surface in your smaller theaters that show the art films, independent films, foreign films, documentaries, short films, etc...

Where do they have that?

Disney is not making it, I don't know where that rumor, assumption or misunderstanding came from... but Disney is not involved in this project. Maybe it came from a misunderstanding of the Henson/Muppet/Disney deal, or the fact that Disney had released the first film on VHS a while back, or...

As for The Muppet Show season 2, we have heard nothing official. We just have estimations, internal speculation, insider rumblings, rumors, interpretations of early statments and vague official comments. Nothing official or solid. Nothing definitive. So here we sit and wait for Disney to get it...
